Wow. Up until now, all the dates I've been seeing were Q4'09.

I'm waiting for the one that does simultaneous voice+data on sprint (like ATT3G does)... Heard it was the Pre, but not positive it will be implimented.

In the end...I'd rather just use a device that Juicy Cooks for.

Hi,

Just got my TP a few days ago - flashed it to Juicy's ROM on the 3rd day, heh.

I've got a few small problems maybe with ROM or maybe with phone, apologize if these are 'dumb' questions:
1) This is the really big one - GMail occasionally pops the Incoming E-mail password prompt - I'm using custom IMAP settings (imap.gmail.com with SSL) since the phone had POP by default. My other IMAP account never has this problem. Help! My office proxy blocks Gmail so my phone is my only line to my main email.

2) Autolock - Is there an option to enable auto lock on pressing power-off key, or do you need a CAB for this?
3) Autofocus the input field in Text conversation mode - if I use the txt messaging tab and tap a message to reply, it would be nice if it autofocused the reply field - otherwise it winds up auto-searching through Contacts which is a bit annoying.

Thanks for your hard work Juicy (and everyone here who helps out)!

Juicy's on Telus. Plus, see here.

I'm on Telus too, but I'm poor...haha. I hope Juicy will still support the TP after he upgrades.

Thanks, but I'd already done quite a bit of reading and searching - I found some info on autolock (via 3rd party apps), but haven't seen a solution for the Gmail incoming password issue in this thread - the only Gmail issue i've seen discussed is the default POP settings, which is a fairly straightfoward workaround. Also someone did mention the autofocus in the Manila threaded text view, but I didn't see any particular solution other than 'don't use Manila, which is a bit of a non-solution IMHO.

And thus the advent of the new and improved search feature... (basically means you don't have to read 200 pages to find what you're looking for).

The post that said 'dont use manilla' was mine so I'll step up. The manilla we have here is given "as is"
It's a port with several bugs. You can use the All Messages button on the left softkey or you can tap the text input box and wait a couple seconds for the tabs to minimize.

The Gmail issue is strange. When those issues come up, I've just had to use the checkbox "Use different username/pass for sending"
Hope this helps
