Re: [ROM] [May 12] JUICY 7 - Build 090512H (21222.5.0.1) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

Ok, one thing is I have noticed with the new Manila, is when replying to text messages in the new chat threded window, when I open the keyboard to start to type, I have to touch the box first before typing or the contacts list will pop up. Is there a way to resolve this, so when slide the keyboard open to type a reply it starts to write letters in the box for the reply without having to select the box first.

Thanks Juicy

I was wondering the same thing. Kind of weird replacing PIM Backup with My Phone if you need a unique promo code to sign-up. Anyone have those?

It syncs your contacts, call history, text messages, pictures and videos.
It seems to have all the capabilities of My Phone and more.
Dashwire runs a client on the phone that syncs the call history as each call comes in or is dialed out. You can update your contacts on the web site. You can even text using the website. To text, you type it on the web site, it syncs to your phone then sends from the phone. When text comes in your phone, it then syncs it to the web site.

I use this but texting doesn't behave the way you say. It doesn't seem to sync the texts back to the phone. If I send a text from the site, it's not on my phone. Seems like a one-way sync with texts, unless there's a setting that I couldn't find. Not too many settings on dashwire.com.

I'm on myphone.microsoft.com signed in with my Windows Live account, and it's asking for a promo code or to signup on a wait list. Is there a different site to sign up at?

I have been using Juicy7 090426 and I don't have this problem. I thought it was introduced in this release. Thanks

I believe about 50 or so pages back ;-) there was a post that to dial you tap on the picture then a contacts page for that person comes up. You scroll down to 'More' click on it and you get the M$ Dialer list of contact info for that person. Click the one you want from here to dial...

I believe it started with 090429 when Juicy switched from manila 1.(something) to 2.(something). Thats when the dialer quit working.

I have run into this problem. To solve, I manually start a sync. Kinda of a pain in the a** but I really don't text interactively this way.
It seems if you wait long enough, the text will catch up on it's own.

For all those wondering about Microsoft MyPhone accounts, just log in with a Live account and go on the wait list, it usually takes a day or two before they let you in. It's worth it though.
