Re: [ROM] [Apr 29] JUICY 7 - Build 090429H (21501.5.0.70) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

So I though I changed it to 24 and flashed again but it still reads 203.24 total. Will this value change or a different one?

i think whats going on is Juicy took some of reserved RAM from whats reserved for the OS. It's usually ~88MB but its only 84.76 on Juicy 7, giving you a remaining 3.24 MB (203.24 MB ring a bell now?)

hehehe i figured it out Juicy :P

That value should absolutely change if you raised the page pool. It would deduct that extra ram you assigned from the total available.

Hmm... When I open the RUU_signed.nbh file with PagePool_changer.exe that I flashed with it reads 24, yet there was no change. Any ideas?

well Dylan, seems like you found a bug in changing the Page Pool. Way to go

Did a search on my issue, but came up with nothing so far. I set up my Gmail account through both the base Inbox and HTC Mail, and I can't retrieve any messages past 12/15/2008. It cuts off at message 269, when I have 309 in reality.

I have it set to retrieve all messages, everything is set up just as it has always been on other ROM's. Any solutions? I like this one a lot, but I may have to use something else, as I use Gmail frequently.

It doesn't work for me :(

As a test, I set CNN.com to update every 30 minutes, between 0100 and 2300, sunday through saturday. It just never pushes, and I never get the green icon.

I tried with connection on, and connection off, leaving wi-fi on and turning it off.

What can I try to get it to work?

I just tried it on this latest 29th ROM and it works in this way. i set it to ppcgeeks juicy page, 30 minute intervals from 0800 to 1600, i wento into the book mark, it loaded the page/exit Opera and there is a checkmark next to the bookmark. Clicking on it brings up the page instantaniosly

Running great so far the only thing I wish that was included was the random access letters on the side of the contacts!

The phone must off. Once off hold down the volume down, power button, and center ring. Follow the screen commands. Hope this helps
But this doesn't do the full (MSL required) hard reset, which includes the over the air provisioning.

I looked into adding the DCD Sprint cabs, but this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...&highlight=DCD

thread point to issues with wrong Mogul PRI included. I also tried using Shaggy's cab (post #25 from same thread) . Still same issues.

Any way to makes the ##786# work with this ROM?
