Where can I get DeviceAutoLock? I did a search on ppcgeeks but only this thread popped up.

Well it's not perfect, either... this latest build seems to have TF3D pop up over top of the WM 6.5 lock screen. If you put the phone in standby and wake it up again right away, the lock screen will be on top for a few seconds and you can unlock it... it acts weird otherwise. With these issues, I'm just using no lock screen and being careful... nothing seems to work properly, lately.

Anyway, the thread is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505032

and a direct download link here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...6&d=1244279955

After installed, it will be under Start -> Settings -> System -> Smart Lock
You'll want to check new 6.5 lock and "Suspend lock"

It worked better in past builds, I guess... but even the 6.5 lock screen itself isn't perfect - freezes on new SMS sometimes. All that this program does is activate the default 6.5 lock screen under certain conditions, so any problems with the lock screen past that, the developer can't do anything about... which is unfortunate, he's done good work with it.

There was a similar 6.5 lock problem in the second to last Juicy 7 build and it was fixed with the last 7 so maybe Juicy knows a fix

I am using the latest juicy 8 rom. I noticed that the options for the Rhodium ezinput sip keyboard do not work. Therefore theres no way to change the settings. Can we get this working Juicy? I'm using your Juicy 8, 6.5 rom and I am convinced it's by far the best! Great work!

Juicy, I'm sure you are aware but is there anything that can be done with the Rhodium notifications in the TF3D2 SMS screen? ruskiyab posted about it in post # 5956 I believe. It is definitely rhodium related.

Run XT9Settings.exe from windows folder... same thing. You can even make a Star menu short cut for it if you want.

Folks, I have a Sprint Touch Pro and installed the Juicy ROM 8 yesterday. I sync my contacts with outlook and all my phone numbers have a +1 in front of them. Dialing these numbers in the stock ROM worked fine but with the Juicy ROM I get a message from sprint - the number or code you have dialed is incorrect. I believe the phone is now appending a 1 to any phone number (even if it has a +1 in front of it). Any way to change the behaviour to only add 1 if the number does not start with +1?

Yes... Go to phone screen then press the lower right menu soft key and select options. From there you should see the tab called "services" with all the global settings. The one you want is called "automatic prepend".

XT9Settings is not the same as the touch input settings. There is, however, an exe in the \Windows folder for it but it doesn't run (gives an error message) You can change the settings in the registry though under HKLM\Software\HTC\ezsip, thats where i had to go to turn off the vibrating feedback for the keyboard and turn on the clicking sound instead.

Here's another SIP question though... Any way to get the Compact qwerty and phone keypad to work properly, I can get them to open but all they type is numbers almost like there no correct IME for them

WM 6.5 does not have an arrow set for "inactive data session."

When a data session is started, you get white arrows. It stays that way whether information is being transmitted or not.

Opera staying active is part of the Push Internet Engine... it's a hassle to kill it. You need to install a cab, remove a registry entry, and stop a service... Then Opera won't -start- with WM, but will still load just fine on demand. After that, you will need to terminate it to close it again - Real hassle when I'm using WKTask and Opera is on the task bar all of the time.

Links and steps please! The background Opera9.exe process is causing some problems to some of my apps, and I cannot kill the process. I also cannot stop the "Push Internet" service; dotFred's Task Manager fails at stopping it.

Sweet, I figured it out. There's more than one registry entry to kill the Push Internet service, and you can't stop the process manually via dotFred's Task Manager - Services tab (even if it says it's Off under the Internet->Data Settings->Push Internet line, the service remains running).

Anyways, I threw together a quick cab (uninstallable) for this. You'll have to reboot after installing the cab. Upon reboot, Opera9.exe should still be running, but instead of the 2.5MB it took up before, it'll only take up ~5kb now. It's also fully killable, so once you end the process with dotFred's Task Manager, it'll be gone.

[Note: This was actually the cause of my TTS engine on iGO8 to not work. After I managed to kill off the Opera9.exe process, my TTS engine works again]

Edit: modified the cab to remove the 5kb Opera9.exe Autostart Bootlauncher process too, as even that 5kb process killed my TTS...oddly.

I wish all I had was a lag. Two J8 flashes(from SD) and hard reset each time after the custom runs and I get "Error, Connection Failed" Anyone else with this issue or did I miss the fix 500 or so post ago? HAHAHA!!

Oh yeah, i'm on Sprint TP, J8, Radio 1.08

Thanks in advance.

I would flash back to the stock sprint radio and see what happens. I bet that could be your problem. Juicy 8 works beautifully on my sprint touch pro using the stock radio i get great signal.

When the screen rotates 180 degees from the normal Portrait view, the phone screen goes black and I have to soft reset it to make the phone work again.

Can this be fixed, and if not then how can I disable G-Sensor?

You can disable the g-sensor right in the settings tab of Tflo3d

WHY?
would not an older build benefit your purpose?
That's like having a Z06 Corvette and taking off the fuel injection for a single barrel carburetor

I am unable to dial numbers stored in the +1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx format. The "+1" is not handled properly by the dialer. It can dial numbers in the format (xxx) xxx-xxxx. This is not an issue with the older HTC dialer.

What's the deal with the autocomplete/SIP on Juicy 8 when typing text? I don't get what the autocomplete is trying to do when I use the keyboard. It only activates on numbers and punctuation, and it is driving me nuts.

How do I get the SIP that was in Juicy 7 that looked much nicer and didn't do autocomplete?

Sorry if this has been answered... My offer/suggestion still holds to setup a separate Juicy forum somewhere.

Click the button in the lower left part of the keyboard that says XT9 ABC. XT9 should be highlighted now, after you click it, ABC will be highlighted. This will turn off autocomplete. You should only have to do it once.

I disabled G-Sensor via TF3D2 But yet Opera will still auto-rotate and when that goes 180 degrees from the portrait view, the phone goes black and can only be turned on again by soft reset.

Any chance someone could tell me what the Opera9/Push Internet problem is? I don't use push internet, so is opera still not killing all its processes? Im wondering if I should flash the newest build. Does no onscreen keyboard menu mean I can't change it to/from the different keyboards (block recognizer, touch input etc)? The only problem for me (unless I just didn't realize it) with the last build was choppy youtube. Also will Sprite backup do a suitable restore between these builds with the whole internal storage name change thing? Thanks.

Basically, even if you turn push internet off via the TouchFlo3D menu on the Internet tab, the service is still running, and there is a 2.5MB Opera9.exe process that constantly runs upon boot. Even if you exit Opera, the process will still be there, and you can't close it with any task manager. It seems to interfere with some programs (in my case, it messed up my TTS for iGO8), as well as the fact that it uses extra memory.

I posted a fix here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=6012

Run SASHIMI.exe(bin folder)->Tools->Registry->Backup Owner Info.
It should have exported HCU-ControlPanel-Owner to SASHIMI's "Backups" folder.
Now everytime I run SASHIMI autoinstaller, the first thing it says is "Restoring Owner Settings"
It's worked for me for a while... it just took me a while to find in the menus. Cheers!

Hello everyone,

Off topic, so I apologize ahead of time, but is there a SASHIMI for dummies? Or for super morons? A step by step, how-tos would be awesome. I read, not carefully, through SASHIMI's docs and FAQ. He gave examples but no wizards to walk you through. Perhaps, there's a new SASHIMI version that is more step-by-step, because the restore owner setting is new to me. Thanks so much and so sorry Juicy

In order for it to show up you have to have your city set both in the world clock and in the weather tab. The problem is when you set it in the world clock it messes up all of your appointments. It is a nice feature tho

Did you watch the videos? Also, start simple and build upon the automation from there. Start with a few cabs in the Auto/CAB folder. Add more as you see how it works. Then try some registry settings in the Auto/REG folder. Personally that's how I started, and I love it now ~ and only been using it a couple of weeks.

Does anyone have an issue where your phone shuts itself off while plugged into ActiveSync? Usually [always] while connected, the phone stays on although the backlight will shut off. But with 090627 the screen turns off, instead of just the backlight, which then disconnects the phone from ActiveSync. Not a big deal really, just something weird I noticed with this ROM. I've hard reset and it still does it...

In Settings | Power | Advanced, what's your "Turn off device if not used for" set to? The default seems to be 30 mins. I honestly haven't left my phone connected to ActiveSync for any great length of time, but I'll try it to see.

I used an older DCD Carrier Cab (attached) and the same version OZ IM, and it works fine on mine. Do your other internet apps work?

-I suggest installing it to your Storage card.
-There are little abbreviated help-txt files in almost every folder.
-If you want to backup/export certain registry entries (this is the real timesaver for me), \Sashimi\Program\bin folder has a great TaskManger in it with that capability.

Cheers

I've hard reset and it still does it...
