Chuck IV - I have the same issue with my Slingbox. Actually EVERY time I start it it starts and then runs for about maybe a minute and then drops, even if I have full bars. I restart then it is good to go for however long. I also haven't been able to get SprintTV or Navigation to work on htis rom either. I hoping these are resolved in his upcoming update or I'll have to switch to more "standard" rom . . .

Bad idea to upgrade rom using Backup programs (to save programs / settings) and then restoring?

I have Juicy's latest and mine is working without any errors. I use mine for personal and business a lot.

Jthomas;

How did you correct the contacts tab bug? Or by working w/o errors you mean yours is broken too?

Yea, I have the same issue with Sprint TV. Can't get it to play the channel. It will do everything BUT actually play the channel(the guide data works fine). Now that I've gone to a SlingBox, losing Sprint TV isn't a big deal since I'll be cancelling it anyway, but there are still some channels I'll get, even after cancelling, that I'd like to peek at every now and again.

On the Slingplayer, I've lost it twice in the same viewing, about 30 seconds apart, but after that it was fine.

Wingzfan - Seems to be a hit or miss as whether or not it works for whatever reason. I went as far as to redownload Juicy6, loaded it, did a hard reset and then loaded Naigation (didn't work) and SprintTV (didn't work). Some people it seems it loads and runs just fine on. I did all that because I thought it might be due to other software but it wasn't. Don't know what to tell you other than try it. I can't find an answer as to why sometimes it works and on others it doesn't . . .

Because, when I view them, they still show the RIGHT time when viewing the actual appointment, but show an hr early on the calendar's Day/week/month and TF3D2 main screen views. I end up having to delete them and resend them to my phone.

so how did you fix your calendar? At first my problem was that the clock was 1 hour behind. I fixed that by disabling time sync. Now all my google calendar events show up one hour early on the calendar. I've never had this problem before...

I need help with this...

When keeping a conversation open, all the new texts from that person are kept as 'New' and it forces me (when I go back to my home tab or another section of my phone) to go all the way back to when I first received the new one it is rather annoying to keep pressing newer/going through all the texts I already read.

I literally deleted every single appointment off my phone AND the calendar I sync with(I sync with an exchange server/service I pay for), reset the clock on the phone and then resent every appointment back to my phone from my work outlook(I forward my work appointments to my phone, as my company will not directly sync with WM phones, only Blackberry) and then resynced with my exchange service.

Once I got everything back to the right time, I used PIM backup to backup my calendar at that point. This way if it happens again, I have a restore point ot fall back to, to get everything back on the right time. I back up every couple days.

If there's an easier way, I couldn't figure it out because the issue was that when I pulled up the actual appointment in Outlook or even PocketInformant, it showed the CORRECT time, so there was nothing to change. However, when the meeting would show in the calendar/TF3D Page, it would show an hour EARLY. This made fixing it, next to impossible.

So say the meeting was at 11am, it would show as being at 10am in TF3D2 AND Outlook's day/week/month view, BUT show as 11am if I try to edit it. Here's what's really screwy, if I went in and edited the meeting time from 11am to say 3pm, the meeting would then show CORRECTLY in outlook's day/week/month view, as well as TF3D2. HOWEVER, if I put the meeting back to 11am, to would AGAIN show up an hr EARLY, showing at 10am... ](*,):protest:

So I dunno what's going on.

I had 4.7 running before and I flashed the latest one a couple of days ago and now I am also noticing that the battery drains extremly fast, after 3 hours my phone is dead. The questions I had was how to disable the screen turning on every time it switches service areas like roaming or towers, and how to update the profile. Every time I dial *2 for sprint it says its updating but it never does and is unsucessfull, they told me to click on settings and then on the Update Profile icon, but they are not on these roms? Might go back to 4.7 for now.

I had the same issue with the calendar being an hour off. What happened was the world clock app in the touch flo changed the time zone. When i changed it back it would still be off. I had to go in to all settings / system / clock to change it back to my time zone. Very strange.

Loving the TP2 ROM btw.
Juicy, do you think there is any way to edit or reg-edit hycalbum so that videos start paused?
I ask because some of the video podcasts it play play much smoother when they have had a few seconds to buffer. ie. Geekbrieftv is h.264 @ 30fps and it drops tons of frames.

Ok I bit the bullet and flashed to Juicy 6.Been playing with it for about an hour and all I can say is WOW. I cant believe I waited so long to get off the stock rom. This thing is blazing fast and so far the only issue Ive had is when adding a new favorite contact, when it asks for a pic I select one and it goes back to the phone selct page so I have to hit cancel and the person still gets added.

Couple questions.
Is there a way to change the green selection color to maybe blue?
Is it my imaination or is my phone vibrating when I select a new tab?
Can I use the custom taskbar cabs to change the taskbar icons like on the original tf3d?
Do you change the start button the same way as before?

Btw, my sprint telenav navigation is working perfectly slingplayer however wont load at all. It shows in the taskbar its trying but thats it.

I'm not using xbmod manila2 right now but I believe the new Rhodium Album should fix the issues with selecting pictures in manila. Such as being able to select your my contact picture.

Try it out...

I had to disable manila and terminate AlbumSearcher.exe.
I think if you just disable manila and soft reset you should be fine though.

You Know Who and DHarvy came together to port the Rhodium version of HTC Album and I'm happy to report it works with the TP2 TF3D. It does work differently though. There's no more circle to zoom in or out. Instead, double tap for in our out and the dpad scroll works as well. And no more press and hold to pan. Simply start panning without the waiting (it's a lot smoother this way) and to get to the next photo you can just pan even more and the next pic will come up. Take a look at that attached photo - I can pan and be between photos and pick where I want to go. All in all in runs very smoothly. The only drawback is that rotation does not seem to work (gsen or otherwise). But this marks the first time the TP2 TF3D has HTC Album running and all of the other features are actually very smooth and I much prefer panning automatically over the press and hold method and I find it’s much more intuitive. Big round of applause to You Know Who and DHarvey for their work once again.
The download is available from here.

double correction!!! if i launched it from manila it locks up,i went to file explorer and launched it from there, works perfect. back to manila, locks up. added into a different spot from the program launcher and it works. for some reason it will not launch from this 1 particular spot in the launcher. but other programs will from the same spot

Exscuse me for my first post, but when I click the a phone number in an sms conversation, and select 'make call' it highlights the selection yet doesn't make the call. Send SMS and Save to Contacts both work, just not the 'Make Call' function...is There a registry edit I can make for this? go there

you should change the radio if you havent, better signal and batt life. you flash it just like a ROM but all it does it change the radio the phone uses to pick up the signal..

the 2 fav ones are the lasted sprint and the telus radio. i suggest you try both and see which one works best for you.. .

you dont need to flash a radio but it helps IMO... right now im running stock everything( on the new TP i got today) but i flashed the lasted sprint radio since i know it works best for me.

i will flash a ROM later... ( temping to do so now but im doing my best to hold)

Ok, I decided to move back to Juicy 4.7 for now. But I miss the black wallpaper of 6. Does anyone know where I can find a cab that will put that wallpaper on all tabs for TF3D? Or at least where I can find the wallpaper?

Also, does anyone know of a cab that includes all the sounds (alerts, ringtones, etc.) that were bundled with 6?
