it doesnt do that with me, i get the most recent text on both the old and new text interface. it doesnt update that i did read text text till i go the old interface tho but thats ok with me..

Well first of all, not all phones work the same way, if you read through this thread you'll find out some ppl are having minor bugs and some dont.
most of the bugs are created by a third party software people install
that changes a registry setting or something else. And they've been resolved, most of them anyways.
here is my review.
no lock ups.
50% mem
manila has never crashed on me. even though i have the fuzeberry theme
and the sprint clock.
oh and you can call it juicy McQueen. http://www.belchfire.net/cache/scree...ng_mcqueen.jpgcause is built for peed.

not sure when u say "no lock ups" if ur completely accurate. Ive used all of juicy's roms, and not to criticise his work (EVER), but the tp2 manilla simply isnt as stable as the older ones (thats why mike hasnt switched yet). There ARE lockups, but most ppl live with them.

So far theres bugs such as all settings not working,
time not working correctly,
ring tone bugs (sometimes),
fuzeberry skin disables finger friendly start menu (can be 'fixed' by using old start menu).
and a few other little ones

for those people who require complete stability, its a pita to flash all the time. But for those of us who are regular flashers and dont care, well we can update all the time.

Out of the blue I began getting an error message stating the audio player(when I went to the music tab) was missing a component and could not start(ithe error would pop up as soon as I got the the music tab, didn't even have a chance to even see any songs). I tried renaming it and letting the system regenerate the file from ROM, but it didn't fix it.

I hard reset and it is fine again.

uncheck "Enable large Start menu"

quick question
has anyone noticed if the large start menu takes up more ram?
btw this rom runs nice on a vzw tpro (surprisingly) but not without sktools and disabling the dialer...sprint tpro it works fabulous

2 thumbs up :)

Need to reinstall all my apps though.. :(

This is what I do: I install all my apps to the storage card. I back up with SPB backup before I flash. I flash, reset, and restore my backup in ROM upgrade mode. And I have all my apps ready to go.

I believe all phones are different because 5 sucked for me and 4 worked great. I see several people saying they are going back to 5 and I had to uninstall 5 wasnt usable at all. Now 6 is almost perfect and have only had a few issues. Last night was the first one that concerned me. It had a full charge at bed time 12am and at 630am shut off because it was dead. I had no programs running at all and that was the first time that happened in 3 days. Any thoughts?

For me, this last build is as stable as can be. No crashes, no lockups. Even the TP2 keyboard works awesomely. Time works perfectly as well. A couple of TouchFlo glitches of buttons that doesnt go anywhere but thats just the port.

Ive barely flashed anything on my phone though, only the last three juicy builds so I probably dont have anything floating around which maybe is the case for the people with problems? When you do a hard reset and flashing, I thought that it wiped everything clean which it doesnt seem to do...

Everything works great with this ROM. The only issue I'm having is with time zones. Is there any way to edit the time zone configurations for each city? For instance, Mexico City has a wrong config, it's GMT -6 with DST from 5th Apr (1st sunday Apr) until 25th Oct (third Sunday Oct).

In case Juicy is interested in this info: http://www.timetemperature.com/tzmx/...ime_zone.shtml

I tried that first. They stay large. I liked that it had my favorites all in a line and then my most recently opened. I don't like my most recent in icon form at the top.

Since I flashed this ROM, Windows Live keeps popping up and wants me to log in. I have gone through every option in the Windows Live program and turned it all off, yet it keeps showing up.

Also, in the Settings menu, there is an icon called Large Title Bar. Nothing seems to happen when I tap it. What is it for?

I am one of those lucky guys that has had zero problems with 6. Not even time problems. No hangs, lockups, weird resets. No issues with ring tones.

But... there's always a but... last night I installed both cabs from JMZ for clock and theme. The Sprint theme is awesome but it reverts the start menu back to the old style and adds a program tab with 4 across. That is actually not a bad thing (for some people). All else is normal and working as always. This morning I noticed that the new Juicy 6 touch keyboard totally changed to a 10 keypad plus the letters P and W. I've switched to qwerty keyboard for now.

Any thoughts on this? Like is that clock (JMZ Taylor) and Sprint theme ok to install on this ROM?

I dont know if anyone has posted this, (286 pages @_@) but for some reason when i send out a text, people will get recieve it three times in a row for each text randomly. i just installed juicy 6 rhodium manila last night and that's just what people have been telling me when i text them. i dont think its sprint because everyone who text me seems to be fine.

or maybe there some sort of conflict with this rom and some of my programs..

I am sooo one of those guys too! This ROM is immaculate!! I absolutely love it!!!! The ONLY things are the bluetooth issue and the battery drains but theyre both no big deal and I heard theres a fix for the bluetooth just havent looked into it. Im actually afraid to try anything else or flash another rom thats how good this is running. Hopefully those talented people start making some more themes for this manilla!! Im gonna keep this rom on my storage card at all times in case I flash Juicys upgrade and have problems Ill always have this to go back to!!

Yeah I agree I have been hodling on to this ROM so far even with the minor bugs, even the ringtone has been holding up so far since yesterday the only really bad thing is the battery life is just terrible, but theres a lot to say about a ROM that I would hold on to it with terrible battery life because bad battery life is ususally the first reason to get rid of a ROM.

I'm not sure if its just me, but does anyone notice that the v6 rom seems a bit choppier. Especially when you're flipping the photos around. It looked silky smooth on my old v5 rom but after I upgraded to 6 it looks like its frameskipping. The email envelope animation looks choppy too.

Third time i get to ask this question in this thread, is it just me who is experiencing the cut off in the new TF3D2 texting interface. If you type a message that is large in it will just cut off what it displays past a certain point? Is anybody else having this problem? Also, if you did have this problem how did you go about making the text message shown larger (as in showing more characters and not cutting it off).
