BELL carrier info

I am looking for bell carrier cab, I have flashed with ROM and now it dials #777 and apperently I get charged for TELUS ROAMING data I have Searched many times here but no luck in finding anything about this....

thats odd...do u have telus carriers towers listed at first priority?

where do I check that... I have looked throiugh my phone but nothing...

go into ur epst settings. go to ur dialpad then type in ##778# and check ur SID/NID settings. Check what numbers are there and report back plz. Does the TP version of mighty rom still have the telus dns settings btw? and just wondering, how do u know ur getting charged for roaming on telus's data, cuz as far as I know, bell and telus have a roaming agreement for using each others towers

I will check and I know because I got my bill and had huge amount for Data called Bell and the confirmed.

UPDATE: I can not find EPST config tool

UPADTE : SID is correct shows my number, and Im running RSTG ROM

thats odd, where r u located? i used Telus towers in the past for data, but i never got charged. I was on the $30 unlimited. Which one do u have?

Located near Kamloops, BC and on the $45 plan Unlimited

okay, my mistake. I think the telus tower agreement is only valid within ontario. Im not too sure why ur roaming over to telus. Is it all the time or is it just during specific times?

it really does seem strange as I was under the impression that bell uses Telus towers here in the west and Telus uses bell towers in the east. I don't know what to say other than maybe trying a different ROM?

Yeah I agree... its wierd but thats what they said at BELL that I was roaming. My Phone dials #777 to go to EVDO... Really like this rom but if I have to switch I will, oh well.
