I agree wholeheartedly and that should also include the apps that are included, such as S2U2 (and others). A link would not only provide info, but also have the latest revisions for that app. That's why I created a list a while back that included most items that Scott uses (Post #553).

When he posts a ROM or Kitchen, on page 1, right next to where the different apps are identified and listed, there should be a link to the original discussion about that particular item. That way you could make an intelligent decision on whether you wanted to use that particular item or not, and it would also have the latest release, so you would always be up to date.

But you're in IT, so you know that the documentation for an item ALWAYS lags way behind the development and release. Programmers are notoriously bad for documenting their work. They would rather do "real work" rather than document what they did yesterday.
