I only ask this because I had the same thing happen to me on another forum and it was just waiting on me to log in (even after validating)...

I did it for a few days. But the music player does not work with any of my files. Nor does the video player. So for now until they make a better version. Im switching back to TF3D or BellUI. But now Im lookin into IDimond. google 1800 poket pc and look in the user interface section. Does anyone know if they make a rom with this?

On the XDA forum there appears to be a thread with information on installing the Omnia today plugins. Check it out.

Install Instructions:

1.Install AdobeFlashLite 2.1
2.Install Samsung Omnia SMPlayer/Touch Player
3.Install Opera 9
4.Install Samsung Omnia Today Plugins
5.Put your pictures into \\My Documents\\My Pictures folder on your device (not storage card)

Not compatible with vga screens yet.... but here is VGA fix.....
•Download the VGA files http://www.1800pocketpc.com/blog/wp-...uchwiz-vga.zip
Touchwiz VGA
•Extract the VGA files
•Copy these files to your windows directory overwriting the ones that are already there
•Go to Settings > Today > Items and unselect TouchFLO3D (Samsung Widget should already be selected)
DONT select the other today items like Samsung Today 1 or Samsung Today 2, you might have to Hard Reset if you do

•Reboot

Seems to work. Images still appear tiled on the background. The widgets are small on the VGA screen but usable. Not sure if this adds anything other that a proof of concept. Unless there are new widgets being added i.e. weather, podcasts, newsfeeds etc, I am not sure how useful this will be.

If that doesn't work I have attached a zip with all the files needed.

Install Samsung Omnia User Interface on your VGA device like the Touch Diamond or Touch Pro. Its assumed that flash Lite is already present on your device.

Install Instruction :

Download the plugin
Omnia Today Plugin and install it in to the Phone memory
Download the VGA files
Touchwiz VGA
Extract the VGA files
Copy these files to your windows directory overwriting the ones that are already there
Go to Settings > Today > Items and unselect TouchFLO3D (Samsung Widget should already be selected)
DONT select the other today items like Samsung Today 1 or Samsung Today 2, you might have to Hard Reset if you do

Reboot

Anyone get this working ? I worked with it for a little... Found it too limiting, in comparison to the standard interface. Still looking for a viable alternative to Touchflo !

I finally got it working but yea its kinda limiting on what you can do maybe if there were more widgets it would be better but like th only ones i used were the wireless manager which im looking for a today plugin that works like the one in it and the clock which was off by about 5 hours not sure why tho hmmmmmm o well i guess
