UK Vodafone Touch Pro - I HATE THAT ROM!!

Hi,

I've had my Touch Pro for about a month and I've had enough of that stupid Vodafone start-up screen and everything!

So I've been reading up on this forum and downloaded Total Commander, Advanced Config and RegEdit and I haven't seen anything on here about ROM's on a Vodafone Touch Pro...........and I'm a bit scared of bricking my phone!


So has anyone got an idiots' guide to getting a decent ROM on my Touch Pro? I mainly just want to get rid of all the Vodafone branding and then maybe start playing about with it more!

www.xda-developers.com is were you need to go, these roms are all focused on the CDMA version of the TP and not the GSM version (sim card version).

Or, you can get the ppckitchen kitchen and make a Raphael rom.

considering he is even scared of flashing and confusing the roms here for compatible, I think sticking to prebuilt for a week or two would save months of headaches.

I flashed my Touch Pro - and it's brilliant

Though I was a little scared during the process!

the first few are always a little scary. Now that you popped it, it will be easier.

Heh, agreed. I was a bit nervous the first time as well. Now I find myself flashing at least every other day. It gets very addictive!

Being that the phone is so new, I want to try out all the ROMS I can to get a feel for the best one. I have also used the PPCKITCHEN to build a few, but have not been able to get one quite stable enough for my taste.

hi i have htc touch pro on vodafone logo but i wana flash it i dont now is it GSM or CDMA , but i am in the uk and i unlcoked the touch pro ,also i am using my T-mobile sim card on it.
