JD,

one thing that I did notice that is your 7v2 I could not add a wallpaper to all of the tabs as I could in the first se7en version. Do you mind adding that back into your next version?

oh im soo glad...i know you told me early on..that if i were to install the hd people cab..that it will install a older version of manila..but i went ahead and did it anyways..it worked great..i didnt feel any difference...no lag..so im glad you are adding it to a new version..also in your new version is it okay if u can add account manager..love the option of uploadint to youtube from the phone..thanks alot bro..

Here's my feedback on 7.1, 7.2.....

This is ROM is fast as ****, Manila response is superb and the loading time from each directory is FASTTTTTTTTT! BUT, 7 locked up on me not sure if it is the programs i installed or it's the build. this Rom and other chef rom is using the same build or something because it had the same problems.

Ex... When i am scrolling it seem to stop for a few sec and then respond again, same thing when i am texting. the keyboard stops for a few seconds and then respond. I am pretty sure it's the build because it happens in other chef rom.

Function for Manila.

Here's my suggestion for the Manila try adding HD people works really good with your rom. I have the cab file to it. if you want me to post let me know.

The hd tab adds the function to send, call, email text on the same screen.

For comestic:

I know your not to big on it.. but if you can change the green, i looked all over xda and found the black focus cab but it's still green.

Battery:

Battery seems to beat out allot of other chef rom, i can last a day with mininmal use. The programs i am using to monitor is wktask... Dope!

I have flash to 7.2 and i report back to you.

Edit: PANDORA works on this Rom to!

Same happened to me a few days ago. It froze up over night while on the charger. I asumed it was a program or one of the manila or taskbar mods I did. So I did a hard reset and have not had any issues since.

I'm using his 7.2 right now and it's working great, I haven't have a lock up. Plus, i have not experience the lag scrolling issue. Pandora works, email 5 accounts works.. camera works, ex. sport mode. it might be me, but the camera lag is decreased too.. GPS works locks in less then 1 sec.. :) internet
is pretty fast...( TELUS update radio is the way to go on this). I think it also depends where you are located at.. I think it helps with the battery too!


My recommendation is install HD people tab, there is no lag at all and it is fast.. Also, there is a cab you can install for viewing more of the email on the TF3D. ( it removes the envelope)


EDIT: do you know how to remove all the green shading..?

Thanks Judge.....I tried to give ya a thanks but my button is not working for some reason....it started yesterday...cool heads up though...never noticed this anywhere....it will come in very handy for me....:thumbleft:

Downloaded this yesterday afternoon. The scrolling issues someone else mentioned I briefly had at first but those went away after I did another screen alignment. Other than that though, no lockups, superfast, good battery life, very fast gps lock and scrolling is smooth and responsive. I would highly encourage anyone reading this thread to give this rom a try.

It seems like this ROM doesn't get the love that other ones on this site gets. I dont get it, this is one of the fastest and cleanest out there.

Once people get stuck in a rut, they tend to become overly brand loyal with a rom and quite often wont even try other roms.

That is because JD does not add all the eye candy that some do.....which is why I usually stick to his roms....I would rather customize the manilla and such myself.....some just do not want to take the time to do it themselves......but to each is own....

i totally agree with flyer, JD provide a the FASTEST ROM without customization, no need for eye candy because user should be able to do it for themselves ( unless he want to change the green)..... :)


Report: When i click on new text message, i type in J, and it usually give me all the numbers with J in a column. I'm not sure if he took it out or i did something that disable it. Could someone check? Thanks..

I flashed this rom on saturday and I've got to say, it's sweet! No problems at all. It's my first JD rom since the last Mogul rom he put out (it's still on my g/f's Mogul..no problems with it too). Nice work JD.

i installed the HD TF3D cabs from over @ XDA on top of this ROM and it is working out really well. the only thing i am having an issue with is the text msg issue.

i know i am not the only person that is having the text msg issue, but maybe i am the only one that didn't know how to fix it. so if there is anyone else that is in the same boat i was dowdnload the file from http://wgnrs.dynalias.com/htcfuze/SMSUnread.zip and extract htmlnode.dll to the windows folder and soft reset. i found this @ XDA, so the work is not mine.

the text message problem is a sprint problem and is being addressed by sprint, i had problems with it 2 nights ago but its cleared up on its own here

When receiving a call, i slide to answer but it doesn't really answer the call sometimes? Have anyone experience this problem? i tried to install other s2a appz but i still get the same result. I have searching for weeks and i can't figure it out... I am still using 7.2! Any help will be great!

I've experienced this as well with this particular ROM. Before I tried to find a solution to resolve this JD released the 7remixed ROM. check it out. I've been on it ever since.

Hey, thanks! But, I have flash all the rom JD and other chef have put out and 7.2 seems to be fastest and most stable for me... plus, panadora 7.2 is working correctly too! The only problem i have is the slide to answer issue. I wonder if anybody have a fix to this.. it's pretty annoying! Are you using pandora on his remix? I'm pretty sure i have tested his remix rom and it pandora doesn't work correctly.

Just downloaded this to upgrade from JD 4.x. Wow, big improvement, probably the fastest ROM I've used to far.

I have one question however. Can I get the "clear flip clock" back? If so, how do I go about that?
