Man...I keep getting this error. I extracted it at work on my network share. Maybe that's the problem?

Very quick but I couldn't get SprintTV to run and social networking didn't show up in the album and only facebook shows up under the account manager . . .

I flashed this morning, then hard reset and I checked my phone an hour ago and it had no service and showed my phone number to be 000-000-6167 almost as if it were using a different NAM profile or something. I hard reset again now on my lunch and skipped customizations and it boots up normal now. I just made a new config.txt for UC sert up and I noticed something crashed UC at last boot, so i may have a bad cab in there or something. I will delve into it and report back tonight.

*EDIT* After flashing it looked like it hosed all my EPST settings including changing MSL and MSID to 0000006167. I have never had a problem before, so must have been a fluke. I will have to get the MSl grabber program and hope it changed it back to the number based off ESN! :D

Ok, it did reset my MSL to what it was when it was a sprint phone. I changed MSID back and copied some settings from my Titan to at least get voice working. My device is the one with the broken USB port and I have about 20 more days before I can get it warrantied. (HTC will not warranty without a copy of the original receipt and won't guarantee they could fix it if I sent it to them or quote how much it would be.)

It appears to be working though. I will be doing some more extensive tests tonight.

Good stuff! Quick note though that i haven't seen mentioned, i keep getting a virus warning (says nutcracker family) when i unrar or build rom from kitchen, and it has happened on every build i tried from 2.1.0 on. I can't see it being legit cause no one else has mentioned it, maybe it's just my cheap antivirus (Avast). Anyways, just thought i'd mention it and thanks a bunch for your effort!

Thats pretty common, as AV stuff just looks for suspicious strings of code. Unrar and scan again and it will probably check fine.

Did that, still gave a warning. Of course i ignored it, no detrimental effects so all's well. I have noted something else that may have been covered in a previous build (searched but didn't find it). I made a couple roms with 2.1.0 kitchen, worked great, real fast locks. The third one though when i soft reset my phone said initial programming required, checked qpst and MSID was messed up. Reprogrammed and phone works fine but no gps until i apply lllboredlll's gps fix and all is well again. I believe it's rolling back my pri as i now have 1.46 002 showing. Also, since the first time this happened i have not been able to get tf3d customizer working, nor track me, they give errors related to .net3.5. I have since flashed about 9 ROMs including the stock verizon one listed here but to no avail. Not complaining, nor do really care except for the fact that it's strange. I like the HD Manilla, fast and much more functional.

My verizonized sprint touch pro is useless now, not anything to do with the ROM as it was a coincidence that the NVM programming reverted and i cant change the MSL without a working USB port ( as far as I know) I definitely like the ROM too, it is fast and stable. Makes my TP a very nice PDa with no data!:D

I ended up flashing the shipped VZW Rom, then manually setting all I could through EPST from my backup file from QPST, flashing again and it still will not connect for 1x data or EVDO. This is a problem with my device though, the rom is still great. I pretty much gave up and went back to the Titan for back up. I can't even get the touchpro re activated as the MSL is not 000000 so it is useless until I get it fixed somehow.

I am definitely not new to flashing or modding, so be prepared when there is a fluke!

so help a noob out here...

if I were to take a payload from a different ROM and stick it in this one.. does that mean I would have that build of wm from the ROM I got the payload from? Not 100% sure what's in the payload but that's the kernel for the OS right? so ideally, eventhough windows says it's 21109 it would actually be the one that was in the payload I inserted?

use bafsmsl grabber
see if you can store it on a storage card and install it that way
then follow the instructions from the tut I made. Also one major issue is qpst though...but if you can reflash the vzw rom how can you not use qpst? Did you use microsd card method?

I have the msl. that is not a problem. I have extracted the factory roms from the shipped.exe's and have been flashing with an sd card. I followed your tutorial, it is awesome thank you. Yep. no communications with the usb port. Been swapping charged batteries out for the last month or so. No big deal, I moved back to my titan for now.

i am still having the issue where my sent text messages are being deleted... not all of them, but most of my sent text messages do not appear, just an fy, thanks for the hard work

Sorry this is off topic, but does anyone know where we can get an app that allows us to change and customize TF3D on the TP? I saw one for the Diamond, but it won't work on TP's. Sorry again for the off topic question. I've search everywhere. I found some custom thems I can install via a cab file. Thanks again.

Define "Change and customize"- once you figure out what you need, you can search for it or go to the general area and request each from your wish list

GC, thanks for the clean ROM...VERY Fast! Just out of curiosity, what do you recommend setting the pagepool for your ROM's? I've had pretty good success setting it at 20 but wanted to find out what you use with this ROM.

Just flashed my Sprint TP (on Verizon) with 2.1.4 and everything works well except for the GPS. This one is odd, too. The GPS will work and it will get a solid lock. But every five seconds (exactly 5 secs) the phone will lose the GPS. Five seconds later and everything comes back, solid lock. Back and forth it goes. I see it if I'm using TomTom 7.910 (9185) or if I am using Google maps.

I'm not new to this and I've been using GC's work since my older XV6800, so this new activity on the new Touch Pro is really odd.

One last thing, I have set the GPS to both "Built-in GPS receiver" as well as "Other NMEA GPS receiver" with 4800 baud and 9600 baud and experienced the same five second signal loss.

This one has me stumped. Anyone have any ideas? The ROM is working great for me otherwise.

the problem is you let autorun run on first boot. the sprint tp's that you move to vzw you cannot let customizations run, ever afaik. Even on the vzw stock rom. it resets epst and screws with all the settings.

GC, thanks for another great ROM. I just want to report that I've been using this rom with the VZW TF3D on a VZW TP for past week and it's been working great. It's very very fast. I set my page pool at 9, but I haven't tried different settings.

I tried your ROM with the TFHD engine and it's very fast as well, but sometimes the TFHD interface crashes and restarts. I only wish it had landscape support.

I also tried the animated TF3D engine and this made everything on the phone painfully slow. I would not recommend using the animated engine at all.

hey, did you ever make another gmail/opera mini app with the newer gmail?
I don't need opera mini anymore (used it on the mogul cause of no RAM) but loved the gmail java app (i tried your old one, but on a VGA screen it is really small)

Great ROM!

Just 2 minor problems on my Sprint TP:
1. Dialer codes don't work
2. TF3D-HD doesn't auto-launch. I need to manually run "Start Manila" every time.
