Thank you....as a newbie I see a lot on pagepool here and I did not set a number in my kitchen. Can you also share a link where I can get more info...I have no idea what the default number is since I left it blank and what is best for the vzw tp w/gc rom?

Also what does this do for the device...is it performance?

Thx

Still looking for an answer on the above about the pagepool???

I also noticed that the spell checker does not suggest words as I type. It is set properly under INPUT. Any fix to get it working?

You should consider upgrading your radio to the latest Sprint one. 1.11.00F is what I use and I've seen substantial improvements in signal and battery life. Here's the thread and you should flash using a SD card. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46616

BTW, if you use aGPS on a Sprint Touch Pro, you should definitely upgrade to 1.11.00F.

With the stock radio on my Verizon-ized STP, aGPS was somewhat flaky. Sometimes I needed to manually open a data connection to get aGPS to kick in its cell-based lock-assist. With 1.11.00F and GPSMode=4 registry change, the data connection lights up immediately and GPS applications lock quickly, and Garmin Mobile XT hasn't been complaining about lost connections.

I could not get this one to work.. when I tried to launch Sprint Tv it would not launch. Seems to be a problem with the kitchen file here. I selected everything to do with Sprint even the manila was Sprint.

As a newbie and for asking what options do you leave off to max memory in the kitchen??

Also, ANYONE. I do not know what reg tweaks GC has in this ROM. Is it wise to use PocketToolman tweaks to change the Cache:

File System
File System Filter

to 4096. They both are at 0?

I am on VZW TP some free memory is like what you Sprint folks have.

New to the TP.
Have had a Titan and a Touch in the past.
I can't seem to get the Touchflo 3d to work when I cook a ROM.
I get the tap here to launch Touchflo loop.
I have tried deleting the manilla.exe file with Total Commander and it tels me that I cant because it is protected.

Any ideas where to look next. I have searched and tried what I have found.

At the moment I am running a different ROM so I can use Touchflo.

When you cooked the kitchen...what did you select for:

HTC OEM Applications
-HTC TouchFlo

HTC Manila
-Manila Engine Animated

HTC Manila Theme
-HTC Animated

Now those where my options but the idea is making sure you are pairing them right...

just a guess...

Ok, I have the clean rom installed and it works great except for one thing.... The word completion is driving me insane. Is there any way to turn it off when using the keyboard? It's not so bad when using a SIP, but it is really annoying when typing on the keyboard to type one word and look up to find a completely different one entered.

I choose the Manilla Touch HD Engine and the Touch HD which I believe are the two that go together.

If I am not mistaken the 'HD' for a specific device model. Do you have a HD model? I do not...
