6.5 roms and Juicy's 4.7 rom - Page 4

You and the entire forums also. I just hope they don't screw it up! This is going to make or break the future outlook on WM devices since apple, palm, Black Berry, and all the Android phones are making a run for it's money. Think about it. The hardware on the iPhone isn't all that great, it is software coding that is making it great. If MS made a really good release of WM, think how much better it could make our Diamonds and TP's. We have the hardware, all we need is ther software base!

I was just thinking about that yesterday. The reason WM6 phones are so slow is because the OS demands much more than what is ever truly necessary from the other software and other parts of the OS. They're also always too afraid to move in a different direction due to backwards incompatibility. If they could build a kernel that wasn't dependent on so much, they'd finally have something, but they just keep building on top of the old, slowing everything down.

Am I crazy thinking this ROM has become an "Urban Legend"?
It was pulled for some reason, confidential source code what ever that means.
I saw the SYS over on XDA that wasn't pulled so unless it's very different over there why was Juicy singled out?

Still wondering. I grabbed the ROM from a torrent the same day it was pulled and thought about modifying it for me but my current ROM is running so nice I decided not to chance it.

OK OK I found out why they made juicy take down 4.7 the source code has bits and pieces of wm7 in it. they will probably close this tread but 21014 is the most stable build out there and its has a large subset of wm7 and that why MS wants it down they dont want cookers to understand how to weave in and out of wm7 before it comes out. This is also why 21109 released so quickly its 21014 with out the wm7 code. If any cookers out there mess around with 21014 you will see its wayyyyy more stable and multiple times faster then anything out now including 6.5 (by the way was leaked on purpose so people would not pay attention to 21014) but it takes more memory to motivate it hence the wm7 backround. I probably already said too much and this thread will be deleted but thats the word i got from good good sources. its more stable than 21109 and 207!! now understand this also the numbers have no sequence of when they were established most of 21109 was out when 199 was established DO NOT LOOK at the numbers and think they are in order.

I'm sorry...most of your post was ok, but this part just ain't right. That number is the build, and it IS in order chronologically. Higher number = later build.
