tried to recreate... didnt lock up this time, but did stutter... i had about 30 emails last time that i had deleted on the lappy, right before i did that send/recieve, so maybe that was it.

Imap worked for me. Both synchronized and send/receive.

Issues I've found so far:

clear memory doesn't do anything
psShutXP won't let me turn off the phone (new version fixes this, bottom download http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...98&postcount=1 )

Observations:

Faster for me than 1.4, I don't think I've ever seen my phone boot this fast.
TeleNav (Sprint Navigation) is working, locks satellites super fast.

Hey Scott. You were looking for feedback on GPS. Live search anad the new Google are both tanking on the GPS. Both windows managed as well as manually configured for com 4. Ben using the GPS features since I got the TP and before that with my Mogul as soon as they openened it up with the 6.1 flash.

I am removing footprints to see if it is getting in the way, but I seriously doubt it based on my reseach the past two days.

You are probably aware of all this. Just giving you some more data to work with brother.

Like the ROM and salivating big time on the kitchen

Scott and anyone interested in running a page pool of 0, some observations after trying it for a little bit:

The phone has 119 MB of total available RAM, vs. 107 total MB with a 12 MB page pool which I usually run.

The phone boots up with LESS free RAM with PP of 0 than it does with 12. With SSK 1.2, no Manila, and the HTC dialer disabled, and a PP of 12, I tend to boot with 61 MB free ram out of the 107 total.

With PP of 0, I was booting with 59 MB free, with exactly the same setup.

Opening \Windows\ with File Explorer is MUCH slower with PP of 0, back to stock speed, taking roughly 5 seconds to open, with PP of 12 it takes about 1-2 seconds.

So... yeah... definitely not worth running a PP of 0 as far as I could see. As far as general, overall speed of the phone, I wouldn't say it was noticeably any faster or slower in most aspects, but less RAM and the slow file browsing tells me it isn't worth it.

Shouldn't do this so late at night. tweaking UC just a bit. shouldn't have affected GPS .... but, google, live search and footprints are now working. Go figure. Gotta get some sleep bro, hopefully my rambling will give you an inspired solution( that is easy)

have you ever hard reset your phone? I have a sprint touch pro on verizon and have yet to hard reset it,,it has happened after some flashes..but never by me.... clear storage does nothing and no amount of finger contorting/stylus poking does anything...(after reading that it had been disabled by sprint..I gave up it seems to be ok without it?????????????????
