It was suggested to turn off TouchFLo 3D and that didn't work either

What did work was a slightly older version

WeatherDatabaseEditor_1_1_Meins.cab

That would be a good choice to add to Scotts next version
Good work. Correct, V1.2 won't work, although it's not just Scott's ROM. Won't work on others also...Might be TF3D related, I just don't remember...was recommended in the thread to use 1.1
One downside, is that if you change themes, you might have to add the cities back in (so don't lose the app). It reverts back to the default settings when you change the manila folder.

Did you try Weather Editor 1.02...They say that it's better then the one above, and you can save your cities on the SD card and just restore them after making changes.

I'll give it a try...

Thanks

Has anyone else has the problem with having multiple e-mail accounts appearing on the screen after a restore with no ability to edit/remove them?

Re: ++25 Jan 09++ [VZW] SSK 1.2 - {CE OS 21109} Kitchen and ROM's!

Bob - since you have that nifty software that measures battery usage, I wonder if I could have you test something for me?

I am trying to figure out, for a constant data stream, like when streaming music or youtube videos, does it use less battery to stream over EVDO, or over wifi? Lets assume a good EVDO signal, 3-4 bars, and for the wifi, being very close tothe router, 10-20 feet with a clear line of sight.

I *seem* to get slightly better battery life over wifi, but both methods drain battery very quickly and cause the radio to heat up a lot (I took the back cover off.... the battery was not the main source of the heat). I would love to have some hard data though to know which method is better for battery!

I'll be happy to do it, but 1st a couple of questions:
1) Which radio do you want me to use (although I don't think it makes a difference
2) I'll test the long term voltage drop over a 1 or 2 hr period, using each method.

For quick short term answers, you can download "BATTLOG", and watch how much current it draws in each condition. The current is going to "bounce" around, but the higher the average number, the faster the battery will drain.

Just let me know which radio to use
Bob

For anyone interested, the battery program is Pocket Battery Analyzer
Link: http://www.wizcode.com/products/view...ttery_analyzer
Cost $6.95
I recommend it as an excellent reference tool. If anyone knows of a different one, please let me know...I'd like to try it

Re: ++25 Jan 09++ [VZW] SSK 1.2 - {CE OS 21109} Kitchen and ROM's!

Here they are

There are the 3 icons corresponding to 3 accounts

I didn't set up the three...

They appeared after I did a sprite restore (first 2 then 3 )

The one with messages is not the same as the one that shows up under the accounts and can be edited but does not display the corresponding envelope..

Thanks again
