Scott and anyone interested in running a page pool of 0, some observations after trying it for a little bit:

The phone has 119 MB of total available RAM, vs. 107 total MB with a 12 MB page pool which I usually run.

The phone boots up with LESS free RAM with PP of 0 than it does with 12. With SSK 1.2, no Manila, and the HTC dialer disabled, and a PP of 12, I tend to boot with 61 MB free ram out of the 107 total.

With PP of 0, I was booting with 59 MB free, with exactly the same setup.

Opening \Windows\ with File Explorer is MUCH slower with PP of 0, back to stock speed, taking roughly 5 seconds to open, with PP of 12 it takes about 1-2 seconds.

So... yeah... definitely not worth running a PP of 0 as far as I could see. As far as general, overall speed of the phone, I wouldn't say it was noticeably any faster or slower in most aspects, but less RAM and the slow file browsing tells me it isn't worth it.

Hey bast, when they were talking about a PP of 0, it was for the sprint guys that have a bunch more RAM than us... not really a viable option for us VZW guys.

It's not a Sprint phone based on the memory amounts he's reporting...

Loading the Windows directory on my phone takes about 3 seconds, I don't remember it ever being faster.

Also, I have more memory with a 0MB pagepool. I wrote it down the first time I tried flashing to 0MB but don't know where that is now.

Shouldn't do this so late at night. tweaking UC just a bit. shouldn't have affected GPS .... but, google, live search and footprints are now working. Go figure. Gotta get some sleep bro, hopefully my rambling will give you an inspired solution( that is easy)

Another thing that I found since I had to do the OTA programming is that my phone is not reseting it's self after finishing the programming.

TrackMe GPS working correctly, locking sat's fine.
(This app can only be configured by com port though)

App relies on SQLce... no issues.
