I had a question about the SSK1.4 beta, is it missing the Google Map applications? If so, is there a way i can installed it?

All you need to do is download the cab file and then install it.

Where can i get the .cab file for Google maps, is there another software that's like google maps that i can test out? I saw one on the Blackberry's, has that software been ported to our phones yet? Preferably free software.

Scott makes a pretty freakin awesome kitchen! Very simple to use, and if you like his ROMs... well, what a great tool to get back into baking with!

We have run through alot of the basics of using it here in this thread... but like you said it is 120+ pages at this point so if you come across something you need help with, go ahead and post back... we'll be here!

EDIT: oh, BTW, the kitchen is the SSK download.

I am getting out of memory errors in TomTom7 lately. It may be since my last flash with a SSK 1.2 rom built from kitchen with minimal stuff though I installed a lot of apps after flashing. After a soft reset I have about 48 MB of free program memory and I still have the same problem. It has been working fine since I started flashing with SSK roms until now. I am using the stock 9 mb page pool where I probably had 12 before. I don't have manilla on there. Is anyone else having this problem or have a suggestion?

I have all of my TT files on my sd card.

If you are looking for a kitchen then you can download 1.2 for now. Its pretty solid and bug free for the most part.

I am not releasing the kitchen for 1.4 beta as it was just some experimental stuff I was trying to improve speed. I have refined the technique for 1.5 using better parted OEM files, etc. I hope to be posting a preview ROM soon.
