Also, make sure to copy all the XIP files to the right places:

os.nb.payload in ROM
boot.rgu in ROM\XIP
.VM folder in SYS
.ROM folder in SYS

Make sure the kitchen is running g'reloc.exe (it will say relocating modules). If it still doesn't work, go back to the .VM and .ROM from the kitchen.

I will upload a new ZIP to the XIP thread.

I was kinda wondering about the two os.nb.payload files!! I ignored the one in the root of the zip. I deleted the ROM folder, dropped the one from your zip in its place. Did the same with the .ROM and .VM. There was a text file in the root of your zip that I also had no idea what to do with.

Anyways.... the phone did boot up fine after cooking and flashing, but then got hung on reboot after restoring my backup onto it. So I dont think there was anything wrong with the ROM, but rather, the backup didnt get along with the new XIP.

So I charged my phone all night and took it off the charger this morning and within 30 minutes the phone battery was at 78%. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

I think Scott had mentioned something earlier that he thought B4 had a lower battery life than previous editions. I have also noticed that my data connection does not appear to go idle and has been having an adverse effect on battery life. After taking mine off the charger this morning I am currently at 92%. Took it off the charger about an hour ago.

I was talking to Bored last night about the bluetooth and ignore call issue and he was able to give me a fix for it. You will have to modify the reg entry below.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting" translation="filesystem">

RejectEnable" datatype="integer" value="0"

He also told me of the mxipupdate_phonecanvas_1. file that needs to be changed in the kitchen to make this change take affect during cooking.

Much thanks to Bored for his wisdom. And I thought I would share this dwith the group.

And yes it does fix not being able to use the ignore call feature with bluetooth on.

Great work you two!

And thanks so much for sharing!

EDIT: Just a note here Dimitri...

Earlier I had mentioned I hadn't noticed the issue after installing S2A. You had said that it was with BT... and to be honest, I hadn't tried with BT for a while, but had done it without, and it had worked. So I thought that maybe I just hadn't notice it while using BT.

Well, before I made the reg changes above, I wanted to test a before and after... so I fired up the BT and tried to reject a call... guess what, it stopped ringing (both phone and headset) and the call was sent to voicemail.

So I went to the above reg location to see if S2A had made the changes already. It had not.

Not sure that this means anything... but I did just want to point out that call reject functions as it should both with and without BT if S2A has been installed.
(For me anyway)

But yeah, I noticed this with SSK 1.2 (which I'm still running). You can't ignore incoming calls. When you try to, it just mutes the ring, but the call is still connected and will ring the full number of times on the callers end, before going to Voicemail. Hope this one gets fixed with 1.5!

I will check it out tonight. Dimitir and bored sent me some info on how to fix it.

I've been running over a day now with a 0MB Pagepool, no problems so far. You might want to consider making the Sprint version 0MB by default...

I think I just might do that....

That is just weird. What could be making some phones see the issue and others not.
