Found another issue:

Install the 12 games arcade pack. Try to run pipes. It locks up for 15 seconds, then runs for 3 seconds, then locks up again. Over and over again. You cannot play games. They lock up.

EDIT: I got a missed call with no ring as well.

Voice Command & Dialing are not included in this rom. I know Voice Command is available via .cab install; not sure about Voice Dialing...

Thats odd. I have the Omnia 3D drivers installed. The (3) games included in my rom play fine without incident. Also, have you set up the alerts/ringers? The text message & incoming call alerts are very subtle; they were intended to be user-defined after rom installation.

Well everyone this is (possibly) my first public rom. I wont be posting any files as of yet but I will host some preview pictures & a little build info to explain exactly what I have I have created.

This forum isn't short of custom roms but I have been working on this rom for weeks. And I do mean weeks. But enough talk, lets see some pics...

This rom has achieved a remarkably small un-zipped size of 83mb.
This rom is in English only.
Only some landscape files were skinned.
I have removed just about every bit of non-English language files from within the OS and included apps to create extra space and reduce system file management. I also spent hours searching & removing "dead" or unused files which took up space. This rom leaves MUCH room for expansion. However this rom is a bit more tailored for the "flashy-capable-without-bulk" variety. With the exception of a few extra apps, this is the rom I use and love. Everything is quick, responsive, stable and customized throughout.

Not sure if its just because the graphics but after running it for a bit it gets really slow when doing anything in landscape mode.

Other then that it looks really good and havent noticed any bugs as of yet.

We all get that you want blue, but maybe the creator of the ROM doesn't like blue. As his first post says, he created this for his use and wanted to share it with the rest of us. Please don't ruin the development on this ROM because of your 'bugging out' about needing it to be blue.

Weapon - This ROM looks great, I like the fact that it is RED and you took out the useless tabs. I hope you get the reported bugs worked out so that I can give it a shot.

I agree MILHOUSE...I enjoyed this ROM while I used it but ended up switching because the battery was simply draining much too fast. I ended up using Calcu's Kitchen to cook up something suitable until I can try this ROM again with some fixes. The attention to detail in the skinning of this ROM is amazing. The speed is good and the ROM overall is very smooth to use. I thoroughly enjoyed texting with this ROM because of the cool font that he is using. I believe that this is one of those that may be ahead of its time like Yay4Juggs 4.0...he had a lot of attention to detail in that one and it is now the stuff of ppcgeeks touchpro legend.

Update 1/22/09:

This forum isn't short of custom roms. I have been working on this rom for weeks altering many different aspects. Time will be needed to complete an update with resolution to a few issues which have mostly gone unnoticed because of how I use my own rom and I will be frequently visiting to view user feedback/requests. This is my first rom. I am by no means a master rom developer like many of our fellow PPCGEEK bretheren. In the meanwhile, this forum is well equipped with full-featured, stable, supported and reliable roms to use. I will leave my rom posted as my rom is unprotected and the files can be extracted and replicated to your liking if your so inclined. I thank everyone for the input & support and I will continue to assist in anyway I can...

Also, I will not be redesigning this rom in blue. The time it took to overhaul this in the current scheme to a substantil amount of time and would have to be completely replicated in order to achieve optional colors. I hope you all understand.

I will announce the next update with expectation & build info as well as release date as soon as I create a comfortable & satisfactory rom..

Dude...I appreciate your modesty but must say in my opinion you are far better than you may even realize. Your ROM is so innovative and fresh. I've used nearly every ROM that has been posted on this board since I got my TP last November. Every now and then there comes along one that is a departure from established norms. Yours to me is such a ROM. I EAGERLY await your next release. If you need a tester off the grid...PM me and I'll gladly test your stuff.

this has been a killer rom the only couple things that could make it better are Utube and music id. other than that this is a killer rom...

Youtube works on this ROM for me...

Xweaponx is working on some things, some enhancements if you will. The next version promises to be even better dare I say it for him.

it might have been from me being tired but i couldn't find utube on the net tab or programs i may have overlooked it... but this is a great rom i love how most everything is different fonts icons and everything that is relativly simple as i dont mind loading my own cabs but this had most of them already other than tweak and hack or something similar
G alarm is already here which is a big thing for me... along with s2u2 which i loaded...

the new higher resolution app would be great in here to...

keep up the great work as it has well payed off in my repect to you...

My beta tester is currently evaluating the battery life in the next build. I have successfully compiled the necessary manilas and will be adding the People tab after I finish skinning it.

I am heading out of town for the weekend but I plan to post a release after 5pm EST today.

You should reach out to XweaponX...I have it on good(hint hint) authoritity that he has cooked up a great 20764 Beta...

I know its not a placebo affect, but I have yet to test a ROM that has the \windows directory to load as fast as this one...SERIOUSLY

Very nice Beta...this thing could be primetime if he wanted the headache of constant changes and upgrades.
