sprint update
 

i called sprint about an issue i am having with my pic msgs not sending unless i keep the screen active. if the screen goes to sleep msgs will not send. she said i will need to take my phone in to get an update, and that it is a known issue. i told her i already installed the pic mail update and she said that is not it. is there any other updates out there that anyone knows of for the sprint TP? i would have to return everything to oem and relock the phone to take it in and get the update, so that would be a hassle that i would like to avoid. anyone know what they are talking about?

i also told them i was getting some text msgs delayed and she has been creating a network ticket for the last 20 min. we will see what comes of that.

they are talking about the rom update thats still in testing they probably are going to flash the test rom to your device. get in there get it flashed and dump it :P

No, none of us have the test roms. The customer service person was telling you something to get you off the phone.

Yeah, when I read Juggalo's comment I couldn't stop laughing. He must be delerious from working too hard on his awesome roms. :)

its not uncommon for corporate update centers to have the test roms and flash them

i was told by a friend that works at sprint that the pro has a rom equiv to the diamond and its in testing stages as well he is trying to get it for me. if any one can get it send me a pm asap and ill do what i do for the radio and such :)
