i am out of town at the moment in the middle of nowhere, so once i get back to civilization i will take it in and see what this is all about. my local sprint store is not open on sundays so that might push it back a few days. i will see if i can get in there later today.

Would sprint really put some unreleased software on a customer phone to fix a problem? This will be very interesting. Please keep us posted!

I work at one of those centers, and yes it is. They don't give us things early, usually the ROM updates are posted here before we have them on our PCs, and I've never had a test ROM given to me, or pushed to my PC. In any case, customer service wouldn't know about a test ROM out for the Pro. They were making something up, or confused about the picture mail update.

Your friend probably doesn't work at a retail store, or he works at some special test location. I know as a rule, repair locations aren't given test roms.

well my phone is getting looked at now. just to be clear, i flashed back to the oem radio and rom and then relocked it so there should be no traces of it being unlocked and flashed correct?

well i got a call from sprint and they said my phone is ready. they said they put the latest update they had on it but there is one COMING that should help, so it sounds like no rom update for me.

no they did not, my previous msg doesn't read very well. i cannot tell a damn bit of difference as my pic msgs still do not send. all of the descriptions in the device settings are exactly the same as when i took it in, so other than waste my time, i have no idea what they did exactly.

i tried to hammer a date out of them for the upcoming ROM update but all they would tell me is "there is an OMA-DM client update coming soon that will fix a lot of issues." they also wrote down "this supports provisioning, soft, etc" on my tech ticket, whatever that means. sorry i let you down guys...i tried.

Do you happen to use that codyppc personalizer program to change the Sprint on tf3d home to another word of your chosing? That program caused my phone to not send out picture mails.
