your welcome.
yes...many people on here use the 607XX series with their TP. The difference is they give the evdo towers a higher priority. (better for data speeds)

how do i check my prl? ##786# doesnt work, ##prl# does but i dont think that shows my current prl and im to lazy to look up my msl unlock code, also the new device info in psyki4 doesnt show that stuff anymore...i think i updated fine but just need to verify

i have psyki's rom and i dial ##786#, then click view, then click view info, then click prl. no msl code needed.

Hey guys, Just flashed shipped and noticed that my when updating the prl that is changed form 60653 to 60654. Hopefully this will improve coverage for some! There are 3 ways to update prl:

1.To update prl while on the shipped rom, go to Start>Settings>System>scroll down to the bottom and select Update PRL.

2. If you are on a custom rom without Update prl in Settings>System tab, you can install this cab to get it (works on most custom roms). Just install, soft reset and it will be there. Then follow the instructions above. Only for Sprint users.

3. You can manually install the prl update. we will need the prl but somebody will post it soon enough.
Here is a thread describing how to manually install prl. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...6&postcount=59 good luck! Attached Files http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/attach/cab.gif Sprint UpdateProfile & PRL icons.cab (543.8 KB, 52 views)

60653 has fixed the stupid rescan issue they put in back in 60613 or so. Should lock on to a roaming signal a lot quicker. I'll have to check out 60654.

And just to clarify... it will not give you better Sprint native coverage, it's not a "list of towers" ;)

its not a list of towers; its a list of subnets and SIDs, which will give better (or worse) sprint native coverage if and when sprint adds, licenses, or changes either. since all sprint resellers are gone now (except iPCS), there probably arent many changes other than roaming affiliates lately. however, i have seen native EvDO subnets added the last couple times i compared revisions. this would improve (probably - i guess it could degrade) EvDO coverage for whoever resides in those areas.

network is still giving me 60653, anyone want to attach 60654?
