So i gave him what he was asking for... not some loaded rom...

LOL @ flash his balls off!! That just sounds really funny.

Anyway, its really hard for someone to make a good recommendation for a ROM because everyone doesn't always have the same experience with ROMs (probably because on top of the weird differences from Touch Pro to Touch Pro, ppl also use different apps, which may or may not play nice with the ROM).

So.....try a few out, make lots of back ups so you dont lose data and try not to flash your balls off (put on protection or something) lol

Good Luck!

Re: Noob Rom Recommendation... (yes I did search first)

I have Juggalo 08B installed now. What a difference, like a new and better phone. A few minor quirks... but they are minuscule in comparison to the performance and usability increases.

Jeff
ps - I can't get my hotmail to sync... my exchange server syncs fine with this rom. Anyone have a tip I'd appreciate it.

Re: Noob Rom Recommendation... (yes I did search first)

I have downloaded over 10 roms in last 2weeks and am ready 2 flash my b*lls off!
Generally the new ones are better, but my real point is , I whish there was a section for roms only, because they are all scattered...

I agree I wish there was a section for .cabs only its a pain trying to find the right .cabs unless you spend alot of time on this site.

Re: Noob Rom Recommendation... (yes I did search first)

I understand why the OP posted this and I would have probably done the same but knew that the fire would be blazing after such a post. I too am a newb to the TouchPRO ROMs. After searching long and hard and leaving the stock rom in for 12 hours, I decided to go with Mightys. It's ridiculous to tell someone to flash them all and try them all out. There are about 8 'good' ones on this forum. I'm not flashing my phone 8 times. But first step is to just try one. That first one will be better than stock.

Suggestion...someone should make a post with a Poll of every ROM out there. The poll will give many newbs a good heads up of what's the good stuff out there. This post would be similar to the Radio Poll post. I'd do it, but I'm lazy.
