OK Mike,

Here's an attempt...
In keeping with tradition, since you didn't want the mouse, I used the same or very similar background, dimmed the colors a bit since it would also be for business use, and I thought it might bring out the wording a little better.


As far as the animated part...(Splash Screen)...
I spent a long time searching for an animated gif of a seatbelt closing which could be combined with the sound of a large door closing with a countdown of 5 since it is version 5, while the rom is loading, I couldn't find one. That GIF would run after this initial splash screen (I believe), but my thoughts on the wording would be something to the effect...hold on to your assets. I figured on using the same background. The wording would disappear as the new gif loaded the seatbelt and countdown. Sorry, I tried, if someone else wants to give it a shot or direct me to a gif animation.

(It would be mainly for the owner anyway as most people don't have everyone watching the bootup portion of their phones).

Anyway...

Good luck! That first one already looks great with the variations. I'm not sure quite what you're looking for but I thought I'd let you see this...Here's my contribution.

This slider set was designed on a lil rico midnight blue slider and extra tabs. It works on my phone it works on my buddies phone but i make no guarentees. This is the first time ive done something like this so i hope it works out. In theory it should actually install the extra tabs, and then you can enable them if you wanted. If you dont have the blue slider installed it should still work. Also the manilla's are not compressed. I ran into problems when they were compressed.

And before any one asks. That is Spinich in my hand that looks like doja but it is indeed frozen spinich

If i can get confirmation about compression of these files not screwing with manilla i will compress them as it will speed it up quite a bit.

So I have compressed the manillas on my phone and havnt seen any adverse affects yet. Ill try it for a few days and go from there.

Hey Mike - two things... 1 - convince me to go with your rom...I'm looking for a change. What's the best thing, in your opinion, about your rom? 2 - Do I flash now, or should I wait a couple days?
