I'm confused. I just installed the 5.24.09 Rom and it is not like the screenshots at all. It appears to be WM 6.5 instead.

where did you get screenshots of the 5.24 ROM.

is your manilla on your today screen or titanium. 5.24 is definitely 6.5 pro.

Just came back to correct my post. Meant to say that it is 6.5. The screenshots in beginning of this thread show 6.1, which I thought was what I was flashing.

Just went ahead and launched TF.

i really want to try this new light rom. Is there a way that I can install thecabs that i need with out having to do it manually?

you mean install the cabs automatically. If you've never done that, it might be a somewhat steap learning curve, but you can do it with sdconfig or other methods.

all of his roms include those tweaks. those tweaks are in a base that he starts with, so they all have them now. Any new builds and ROMS from him might include newer tweaks, but whatever the tweaks have been so far, would be in this 5.28.09 ROM.

5-24 is having good battery life so far. Yesterday I did about 54 mins of talk time and the phone left the charger around 8:30. I was actually at 80% at 4pm and all of the calls happened after that. At 11pm I still had 40%.

Today it left the charger around 8:30 and had some mild use (no talk yet) including some time in very poor signal, and I am still at 90%!

And bonus - I am just running the stock auto brightness control. Telus 1.04 radio, as well.

Loaded 5_24 last night... hard reset after loading. Loaded up a free apps Arcsoft MMS, OzIM, etc. Nothing real fancy. Locked up twice this morning on me, had to remove the battery to get it unstuck.
