Verizon GPS Fix v2.0 with another carrier

I am planning to use a Verizon HTC Pro with a mexican carrier (iusacell), i have configured with no problems htc 6800, 6900, diamond and Touch pro (this one only from sprint), i do not flash the phones, i only enter to the EPST and modify the parameters for my carrier.

So i wanted to ask about the GPS fix, because i have read in the procedure that you have to dial some number (i imagine that it is for the OTA programming of the verizon line or something like that) but since i am in Mexico and i don't have access to the Verizon network i was wondering if skip that step will the GPS would be still unlocked?

With sprint and verizon phones the OTA programming also does not work with my local carrier so every time that i change a phone to another line i have to enter the information manually, no problem whatsoever. So if applying the fix somehow erases the info of the line and of the carrier and the number that is mentioned to dial is to reprogram that info, i can do that step manually and i hope this will work to unlock the GPS on the cellphone.

Yes in therory it should work. The problem you are going to find is your phone will constantly show it's roaming. If you run OTA you should get the current PRL from you carrier which will cause the PRI I coded to think then PRL is bad. You should still be connected to the proper tower but you will never know when you are truely roaming.
