Re: [ Apr 25 \ 21043(6.1) & 21501(6.5) v1.6.2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

Thanks guys for the replys. If you guys don't have any trouble with it with the pro, I'll take your word for it. Hopefully it will just flash and run without a hitch. I wonder what it is that is so different about the way it flashes on the diamond vs. the pro....... ponderous. Anyway, thanks again guys, if I have any troubles with it I'll post back. *crosses fingers*

I know with my Diamond, I HAVE to flash to my stock alltel, then to custom every time, or it will cause all kinds of "interesting" issues. If I do need to flash to a stock rom, can I just use the dump in the sticky, or does someone have the actual "official" stock alltel rom available? Thanks to everyone in advance for helping.
Yes the reason is you need to hard reset after every flash! otherwise you will get weird little (or big) errors and bugs

Thanks. i'll try it but I created the same using package creator and it wouldn't work. Have you tried this yet? Calc's oem's are different and seem to work much better then what I have made in package creator.

I fit the Thanks button

hmm maybe you didnt make it right? cause this should work just fine!
ive made most of my oems from this and im using them in caulks kitchen 1.6.2! they work great.
try it out and let me know how it goes
also it might be better to install this during customizations if the oem doesnt work.
copy the cab file to the OEMMISC folder.
Locate your carrier folder.
open config_operator.txt
add a new cab line like this:
CAB: \Windows\*nameofcab*.cab
then it will install during customizations
