I had the same thing with few or no programs in the phone's remove programs dialog. I had to install the cab, let it uninstall and then cancel the install to remove or plug into activesync where they all were listed in activesync remove programs.

I was havings some weird battery issues. On 2 separate battreies I would get 100% charged when plugged in but immediately drained when unplugged. I read some issues with power drain and ae button plus. So I just uninstalled it and all of a sudden all o my programs reappeard. I don't know if the power issue is solved yet, but I thought that was peculiar. Do you have ae button installed?

If you are cooking your own ROM and want to use a landscape theme, make sure you don't use the manila HD engine. if you do, it'll rotate when you slide the keyboard out, and rotate back after a few seconds.

nope the only thing that i besides oems from cabs are google maps, worms, s2u2, and my own tweaks

Warning: Incoming noob question.

Is there like a how to guide on using this kitchen and building roms and putting oems into it. This is my first time doing this as well as my first ppc. Ive flashed a few roms but I like the idea of having my stuff preinstalled that I use all the time so that I can hardreset and not have to install 50+ cabs

Just basically search and read. You can also visit the XDA website as they provide alot of info too.

You are not wrong, but (there seems to always be a but)...it is very, very buggy and really not worth the time or frustration right now. But (again), if you want the landscape, XBmod has a cab file for it on his thread.
