Well, thanks for your bashing. And to answer you question, no I don't have to, I just like FULLY functional apps. But it seems like I have to pick my poison, and obviously a caller's name is not that strong of a poison. The silent ringer is much stronger.

I agree with you, which is why I dont include the dialer. I stick with the WM built-in dialer. It actually works. Fanciness is useless when it offers less functionality. As far as the bashing goes, I think he was fresh off of one of my posts that rubbed him the wrong way. He as a contributor here... but he is just as human as the rest of us I guess.

I was using the built in one for a bit. But the issues w/ the volume control, BT icon, headset icon, and data connection icon always showing active even when there is no data transfer where game killers for me and the WM 6.5 dialer.

Strange... I dont have that issue with the wm dialer. Maybe it is something else you have in the build that is causing it.

This forum has no sense of humor today -- you guys are so boring and serious all the time. Jeeze, get over it. And, no -- someone else's post rubbed me wrong. You were just in my path of pissedoffedness (that's a word, right?).

It does this with any punctuation and it places an underline under the character until the process completes (almost like it wants to do a T9 function)

I've tested this on two phones, and it does the same behavior. Also, I noticed another user posting a description similar to this. If you don't realize that it's punctuation that causes this behavior, it just seems random. Is there a fix for this behavior?

Re: [ Jul 1 ] [ 23001 \ 21051 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

Another problem I'm having is that, just like the options for XT9 and Auto suggestion are being ignored unless you go and modify the registry, the options for the X button are being ignored as well. If you set the X button to not close apps by unchecking the option in the settings for it, it still closes them when you press the X button on the app instead of just minimizing them. You can see this behavior by changing the options not to close then opening say File Explorer, and pressing home to get to the home screen, drop down the task list and you'll see File Explorer, switch to it, and press the X, then you're back at the home screen and if you drop down the task list you'll see File Explorer has been closed. I've tested this on two different phones as well.

Any fix for this?

Issue with COMPIME.dll

Replace this dll from a 217x sys and the issue will be resolved.
