Ah, I had the same issue. Arcsoft's Sprint config is set to "Internet" instead "Sprint"
As long as it's set to your phone's data network and not the generic "Internet" connection Arcsoft should work just fine.

How do you disable htc message client. Messaging was working fine with build 23534 been having a connection problem since yesterday. but everything worked fine when i first set the new kitchen up

Does anyone know how can I get htcAfe.dll for wm6.1 from post #7167 inserted in to the kitchen so its built into the 6.1 rom, I need to replace the version thats in the kitchen.

1)MMS is 1/2 resolved.
It allows me to send but how do i go about recieving mms as manila tries to download and fails how do i trick it to hand off to arcsoft vs manila for incoming mms?

THX as well sc00b4s7eve : I changed the "ConnectionVia" entry for my carrier in arcsoft's reg and recooked and i can now recieve MMS.

2)data is still tie'ing up my phone.

I do sync with my work exchange on a 5-30min sched but calls used to still make it through in the 2.1 kitchen. now calls make it if they are lucky and sms sits on the server and ques up until i make a call and the radio picks up.

One thought: I had this issue b4 when i used capt throwback disable push to internet pkg is that by chance tucked away in the kitchen?

I did try dropping the 2.1 ext's in from the older kitchen (cooks 2.1 in fine btw) and i still have the same issue. still using 21892 as well.

You can use the autorun package to put it in place if you need it added after the initial build

you will need to create a custom file at
C:\whereever you extracted\TMartin's VGA Sense 2.5 Kitchen v4.3\EXT\Shared\System Config\System Config - Autorun 4.31.6.0\files\config_operator.txt file

you would be most concerned with

CPY1:\Extended_ROM\sourcefile [specify source for copy command]

CPY2:\windows\targetfile [copies CPY1 file to target]

rename the source file to _htcAfe.dll and drop it into the same directory in the kitchen as config_operator.txt.

in config_operator.txt

make something similar to
CPY1:\windows\_htcAfe.dll
CPY1:\windows\htcAfe.dll

prolly an easier way but i add in a few cabs a custom theme and over-write a few manila files from time to time and this works fine for me.

That file is located in your OEM folder in the Oem/Common/HTCFramework. You can just copy and place it there but I'm not sure if that would affect you if you decided to build a 6.5 or 6.5x style rom or just create an EXT package in your 6.1 folder and have HTCframework with the updated .dll install it. That way it is easier to keep your kitchen clean incase something doesn't go as expected and you can remove or unselect it without chopping up your kitchen too much

vernox being a noodb a this sucks, I noticed that the files inside the kitchen are some sort of data or img files, I am trying to figure out how to take the htcAfe.dll file and turn it in to a data file, so I can create 2 folders of htcframework, one for 6.1 with the modded dll, and the stock one that came with the kitchen.

any links on a how to create this file,

okay here you go I just took the .dll file replaced with the old one in the HTCFramework folder loaded up the kitchen on the left side in the middle hit the recmod, located the file and it did the rest. Then I placed the.dll folder and all the rest into a folder called files creat a skip folder and zipped it up now just unzip and place in your 6.1 folder and that way you can keep your kitchen clean in case it doesn't work as expected or you don't need whatever.

Has anyone encountered bluetooth issues?

I cooked a fairly stripped clean ROM with build 21892 using T-Martin's latest release, but got "there is no bluetooth hardware installed on this device". Tried soft resetting and hard resetting to no avail.

There was a bluetooth related fix at page 300 something but that didn't help b/c the registry wasn't even there.

Any help would be appreciated.
