I have the beginnings of it working - everything comes up just fine, but there are obviously some dependencies or something I'm not getting right, because some of the tabs aren't working correctly in my rom.

I've been checking out NRGz 2.5 roms (23081, 21864) and Manila's working quite nicely there, except for HTC messaging, which doesn't have a send button...

Hopefully I'll get some more bugs ironed out, if I do I'll post my results, amateur though they may be.

No I haven't forgetting about the VGA people, there are just a lot of changes I need to test and actually I finally got my friend to bring me his wifes TP, so I was finally able to fully test my ROM on one and was able to iron out some kinks, I even got the new 2.1.1920 SIP to work properly on it

Have you played around with 2.5.1920?? I got 2.5.1918 working fairly well except rotation for the Music and Picture tabs but I can't seem to get 1920 to load. Any ETA on that lovely kitchen??

just a quick question...

does anyone know if the 2.1 mods/tweaks in the kitchen will work on the tp2 2.1? are they the same???? just resized??

what im refering to is clocks, highlights, bg4all tabs, us cities weather?

On the TP2 yes but I haven't tested the ported VGA versions yet, so I'll try to play with those next once I finish a couple of things

The only mods that don't work are BG4A and panoramic as they need to be WVGA versions. And as for the US cities database, I didn't try it so I really can't say

I built a new ROM based in the 23502 build in the 4.1 Kitchen. It is really good. It works great and is faster than my previous one built with build 23064. I also noticed a battery life improvement.

I am missing 2 things that I saw on my friend's touch pro and I don't know how to have it in my ROM. Hope some of you can help me.

First, the reminders. When I have a meeting, I get a reminder with the option Snooze or Dismiss. I would like to have more options in the reminders. Options like we have in Outlook on desktop (snooze 5 min, 10min, 15 min, ..., 5 min before start). How can I do that??

Also, I'm in Canada. When I type using my hardware keyboard, in some case, I would like to be able to do french characters (Ã©, Ã*, Ã§, ...). My friends, when he holds a letter on his TP, it gets an menu and can choose an accentuated character. How can I do that??

If you select the nikoan keyboard in the kitchen, it has that.
