That's cool, but the packages he's ported are a couple of months old, which means that most likely they will have many of the issues that MuttiM did when he ported those packages. It's ported beta code.

Absolute Zero, got a question:
Where did your get your 23081 SYS from?
Does it have WAAAY more folders and files than the prepackaged folders in an equivalent (let's say...23071) folder?
Calk actually spends some time trimming down the SYS & ROM folders for us. I just finally got 23081 to build and flash nicely but I know that there is still ALOT of extra crap in the folders that I haven't found yet.

as I tried to familiarize myself with and then trim down a full SYS folder for the first time

Nov.1 09 dated was added does that mean new port/builds?

These are from the 1918 series of packages for the HTC Leo with Manila 2.5. They are older leaks.

These are not new builds. v1919 was found to be too buggy, and not all of the supporting packages for 1920 have been leaked. Every new version has to be ported from scratch, so until 1918 (this one) is completely 100% done, I doubt we'll see anyone at all start on 1920.

And I'm smelling a little e-plagiarism here, but I won't elaborate more until I see some evidence...

Oh jeez, apparently I typed the wrong number last time. I haven't cooked my own, I'm running pre-cooked 23071. My bad. Does that change any of your ideas?

Also, can someone who has a VZW tp (an actual VZW one) that is running 23071 tell me their program memory numbers (total, in use, free) just after flashing? I want to get an idea of how jacked my phone is since everyone's saying I should have much more.

Nah, No worries. It doesn't change much.
NRGZ had a couple good comments in his thread though:
"6. VZW USERS: as for vzw guys as per usual, remove the phone dialer skin, lower the pagepool to 8 mb, and at boot for the standard rom you shouldn't leave above 79% (Thanks Noir)"

I say, folow this building model to it's source and ask these guys a couple questions... good luck

MuttiM is already working on 1920.

Says who? I just spent the last 2 day narrowing down what packages are necessary to make it run and it's not as much as everything seems to think, very few actually besides all the split up manila OEMs. Problem is I don't have a VGA phone anymore to test, so my development for these devices is probably going to slow down past the next kitchen
