Re: [ 9-16 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

that's interesting. Last night I build one ROM, directly after downloading. "Real WM 6.5 AKU" was checked and it built perfectly on the first time. Hmm... I think Calk said he re-uploaded the kitchen because he re-arranged some packages. I wonder if all of you guys having the problems are using the re-uploaded kitchen which has a bug in it?

My troubleshooting was based on the previous version of the kitchen. I dunno what changed in this version that would cause that.

PROBLEM SOLVED

thanks to indagroove and captain throwback!!!!

extract this and put this into your kitchen folder called tools and it should over write the existing one, correcting all these "error level 1" issues"

It's a fix from Deck. I was having a similar problem with the colon and semicolon. I was beta testing a different rom, but I'm going to reflash and see if it works.

Calkulin, do you know why it's doing that? And maybe you can see about putting up the cab on the first page

Sweet kitchen, by the way! Loving the 23412

[EDIT]

I tested the fix, and it works like a charm!

My virus scanner marked "osnbtool.exe" file as infected while extracting. Make sure you restore it before building the new rom. Also, exit and restart the program also help to rectify this problem.

Does anyone know how to fix the phone ringing delay while in locked mode for 23412 ROM?

If you're using the HTC Dialer - you will need to disable it. The HTC Dialer and the 6.5 lockscreen doesn't play well together. Go to Start > System Tools > Phone and click on the Disable HTC Phone skin cab.
