if you do happen to get it to work can you tell me what you did?

I thought the issue was just a matter of VZW locking the GPS on my phone but if you have GPS issues with a sprint flavor then I can assume that unlocking is not the key.

I looked through the OEMs and found that in the GPSID folder there was a missing GPSID.dll. I tried copying that file from another OEM (SSK) but still no joy.

Neither Google or Garmin sees the GPS. Says GPS not found. I can't get Sat lock in HTC tool. Can't find even 1 sat, but I do appear to be getting GPS data returned...just the wrong data as the GPS can't find the birds.

This is the only issue I have remaining.
I will look through the OEMs again and compare to other roms where the GPS works. Maybe there is a missing file in some other packages.

I'll let you know what I find.

You sure about the Radio Mike? I have radio 1.03.03 on mine.

Since you are on VZ I would upgrade your radio to the updated VZ radio.

http://dcd1182.n715dp.com/index.php?...o+1.03.09V.exe

Also, I believe another issue is your PRI. Flash to the official v2 rom from VZ here and it will update your PRI. Leave you phone unlocked.

http://pcdphones.com/downloads/XV685...grade_v2.0.zip

After flashing install google maps and see if it works. Make sure you turn on location services under phone services. If all works, then flash back to the 21052 rom and you should be set.

Any pointers on what I did wrong? Thanks!
In the kitchen, do not check the "CC RUN" OEM. For some reason it causes failure of customization.

Seems to be a new way to implement carrier customizations, but it's not working right yet.

Thanks Mike, I'll give that a shot...
I did try the VZW 1.03.09 radio but still no good. Your link seems to be a different file so I'll try that.

[EDIT]

That totally did the trick Mike...Thanks a billion!

with 21052 kitchen, the taichi dialer shows up a diffrent way from previous in 21051(digits on the left, others on the right). and those buttons like "mute, speaker phone" could not work, being covered by white.

Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

LOL well the VZW Ram hasn't really messed me up too much...I do have to lower the pagepool to 8 on a heavy rom (12 on a light) but for the most part I can do everything I need to do in the Rhodium TF3D2 and I also have an 8gb memory card so I throw most of the programs and data onto that.

Eye- Did you use the Kitchen or the rom?
If you used the Kitchen I bet you selected a skin that is for the standard phone canvas not Tachi or selected two skins by accident. You need to be careful with the kitchen to not select a customization that doesn't go with the items you cooked and VERY careful not to select more than one item where it says select one.

I am using the Black/Blue skin for tachi and no issues at all.

If your using the straight ROM then I don't know what the issue is other than the original release had a bad registry entry that got corrected in the Kitchen. Not sure if Caulk also updated the ROM as well.

But it shounds a lot like you got the standard dialer with a taichi skin.

Go back a few pages and look for the post with the proper reg entry to show the taichi dialer.

Here is a rapid share link for Calkulin's Touch Pro 23009 Kitchen. Not sure how many downloads it will allow because it is just a free account. If someone else could upload it or let me know a better place to upload it and I will.
