Haven't tried this kitchen yet but I am now because I am frustrated w/ eRices's kitchen. Too many bugs for me. Are you guys having the corrupt ringtone error in the 21728 build?

Edit: Just finished first flast of a custom rom using this kitchen... holy crap!! all my problems are gone!!! yay!!!!!!!! :) volume control is perfect, notification manager is perfect, htc menu enhancement is perfect, everything skinned beautifully, all the latest app.... awsome awsome :)

I'm not one to post questions, but I'm stumped. When using the kitchen I have never been able to change the pictures of my contacts from within Rhodium Manila. It sticks with the default image and no matter how many times I try to choose a different image, it just won't change. I've done quite a bit of searching (at least I hope so) and can't find anyone else posting with the same issue. Has anyone else seen this? I'm using kitchen 1.8 (WM6.5) on a Sprint Touch Pro.

For VZW phones, 10MB PP has been working best for me, though I've operated at 8MB and not seen too much perf difference.

For Sprint/ATT phones, Dynamic is best or minimum 32MB, whatever seems to work best w/particular mix of apps on your phone.

Basically all correct but you can have a dynamic pagepool over 0 but it has done in hex there was a thread about it in the diamond and the TP forum but the string is changed since most xips are patched to work with PP changer. it would be possible to edit in hex still to have a dynamic PP but you would have to find the string and adjust accordingly.

And really i not just using juicy's have have made a few of my own juz cant get them in the build os to flash on the rom always defaults to the standard preloaded and it if deleted them won't workm

On swapping sys/oem/xip's between kitchens, it's a PITA, but def can be done if you have the hours (depending on which kitchens). I managed to drop sys files from SAC Warriers SYS into Juicy's kitchen. Got a build out of it, but it just wasn't worth the hassle IMO. I really wish I had more info as to what IS actually changed between the different SYS versions. Just some feedback for ya!

has anyone made wm 6.5 plugin oems for this kitchen (besides the ones included)? I was looking for TitaniumWeather 4.2, CVolume, and CComm (Communication Manger).

I tried the PPCKitchen ones but they didn't play nice w/ this kitchen...

I just added them to the Kitchen in CAB form, sent them to the Windows folder, then added them to the config_ap.text. I hate trying to make OEMs work that start conflicting with other OEMs. its a pain.

On the note of using other SYS. I'm not sure if you just like all the OEMs from calks kitchen but if that's what you are wanting then just snag them from Calks and put them into Juicy's Kitchen. or if you really want Juicy's SYS in Calks actually kitchen i can try. I've done it before and gotten it to work. PM me if you want me to try.

Quick Q... is the 6.5 base in the kitchen patched with the nuespinlock patch? Did that make a difference performance-wise?

Re: [ Jun 4 \ 21051 & 21728 v1.8 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

I am having an odd issue, after using the 1.8 kitchen, I notice that things I could just clikc on now, I have to hold to select and then with my email, I can't open them because just a touch doesn't select and open, and when I hold on them, it just gives me the other options, with out the open. Is there a way to change the click(touch) options to open with the first touch, and not have to hold for a few seconds? Thanks. Also the phone is much faster with this rom instead of E-rice, I like this much better.

I'd grab the OEM's for those apps/plug-ins and drop them in the OEM folder then cook up a ROM with them
