I've also noticed something too....
There is that cool new contact info display when texting people and viewing their information that I think is prettier than the standard one, however.....
This is texting layout doesn't appear to allow more than 160 characters to be visible after you send a message to someone....you only see your message up to 160 characters. Regular texting screen shows everything, so that's ok.....other than the fact that it doesn't clear texts properly. Just something I thought I would bring up. I prefer the newer contact info screen and text program (they're the same, dont know what its called) since its so pretty

ya Jin, I think that "pretty" text format is 130 characters, and the regular text window is 160, it still sends 160 I believe, but only 130 show up in "pretty" format .... atleast that is what I have found as well.

has anyone had any luck with UC on the (March 29, 2009) MERDIN'S WMPro 4.1*Manila 2* CE OS 5.2.21042 rom? i have tried several different times to do a hard reset however when it gets to uc, it seems to try to install the first cab and then restarts. does not put in the xml file at the end. i have tried removing the first cab in my uc file but then it just reboots the phone after i see it display the name of the first cab it is supposed to install. i have tried removing all cabs from the uc file and only referencing the xml file, however it doesn't do anything other than reboot. any ideas?

The text messages not being marked as read has been in the last 2 updates I think. I can't remember which sys it last worked correctly on. But I'm using the red 4.1 with the rhodium manila.

You're correct, it actually sends the entire message, even if its over 130/160 characters (I checked in the normal text mode), it just doesn't display them in the new pretty format, that's all....I got confused for a second because I didn't think it sent so i redid the 2nd half of my message for nothing lol.

Also, is there any reason why a couple of my contacts' picture wont show up in my favorite in the Touchflo screen? If I click them, their picture pulls up just fine in their details info, but in the main screen, it just shows the empty pic display. I've tried removing and readding, but to no avail. Any thoughts?

Actually it doesn't bother me at all since it doesn't happen to often so I can live with it. But there was an older rom that did this to me non stop.
