[ROM](August 3,2009) MERDIN'S WMPro 5.1 CE OS 5.2.230(Build 230 MerdinH)

Yeah... for some strange reason I couldn't get Tsowens Taskbar3 to work with it (Juicy's ROM) completely. The Signal bar was the generic one but if I had no signal it would appear fine. Lets face it....modding your ppc is a big deal to us and it worked with this rom. Plus this rom so far as I can tell is running really stable and fast!!!! I'm glad that I tried it.

Thanks, and Version 2.2 will be even faster, because ill have a new Build version, and New operator package, which will prevents sprints settings from applying during flashing. Ill probably have it out by evening tomorrow.

I would just like to note that this is so far the best Rom I have used. I would like to see some more additions of Graphics on the toolbars, but very awesome. Below are a couple of things I added that you may want to include in your next build.

1) QuickMenu (found this in another Rom. It is Freeware from China)
2) .Fred Task Manager
3) MusicID (very useful application)

Yes... I'd like to second that reply....I'm guilty of only wanting to use the roms from the big name rom cookers. But I decided to give Merdins ROM a chance and I'm very pleased with it. I believe Merdins ROMs will be the next best thing if he keeps it up. For those reading this trust me... "Don't sleep on this rom".

As for the apps. Those are some nice ones to have. I almost didn't switch from Juggalo's because of Music ID. But I found the application and can now install it myself. I'm looking forward to the 2.2 I can only imagine how tweaked it will be.


ps. I did notice that Skyfire Beta is not working. Mine just sits on Connecting.... and does nothing else. Not sure if it's just my phone this is happening on.

I agree...this ROM is very good and on par, if not better, than the other ROMs getting all the attention. Great job Merdinh!

In addition to the apps listed above, for the next release I'd also like to see:

- clear temp
- 4 icons per row
- worldcard mobile

Skyfire works fine for me, it was probably skyfire having problems when you were trying to access it.

By far you have out done yourself, U have created on of the best ROM's I have ever used. I have been ROM hopping since I got my TP but now I think my phone has found a home under the Merdin's brand. Keep up the good work.

thanks, and i already have music id in my next release, and ill look to add DotFred Task, but i dont want to add quick menu because searching through the Threads i found that not many people like it, so thats why i didnt include it, but thank you for the suggestions.

Thank you, and Skyfire's servers were down i believe for the whole day, because they are doing some updates to there servers, but should be back later tonight or tomorrow.

Man you guys are reading my mind, i already added those cabs in yesterday, and im still working on some bugs in cooking the rom, but im pretty sure ill have it out by end of today.
