Got my 8th Touch Pro! Whoo hoo! Still hoping to get a TP2 out of my rash of bad luck with these phones but we'll see.. So this ROM is working great now. Just one issue/question.

I know keyboard lag is a common issue on these phones but I thought it was addressed in this ROM (v5.1). Im still experiencing it however... I have turned off all the Word Completion and Auto Correct features in WinMo.

Any ideas how to fix the keyboard lag there?

i use to..but not anymore (atleast not that much of a delay)..especially cause im on mighty rom now...

Seems I'm the only one posting in this forum - is that bad?

I'm using Merdin's latest Win 6.5 ROM and love it but the screen doesn't turn off when I answer or make a call. I wish it would because I always end up forgetting to hit the power button and 2 minutes into a phone call, my cheek has accidentally deleted a contact, or read an email or something...

I tried the Diamond Tweak settings about lightpolling and checked the HKCU/ControlPanel/Backlight settings regarding this but they all look right and they actually dont even seem to affect anything...

Anyone know how to make the screen turn off when you place a call?

Many (as I) have moved to 6.5.1... I prefer the X & windows buttons on the bottom now & enlarged enough not to have to pull out that stupid stylus anymore...

Yup i really like the new setup also for wm 6.5.1 now im just waiting for the hardware spl for the cdma touch pro 2.

hehe, as long as its working good for you theres no reason to upgrade, and i wont be able to make anything for a touch pro any more since i no longer have one anymore just the touch pro 2, and dont have money to spend on another touch pro.
