SPD Pocket Plus has (for me) the same problem as
SPD Diary: Drop down menus in the options panes are broken Using a 4.03 beta version of SPD Pocket Plus corrected the issuewith the drop-down's (I installed a cab over the ROM) |

Great post!!
Should be a sticky or at least incorporated into the Kitchen thread. |
Re: Bugs\Fixes\Updates WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
"Manila: Must select background twice to change."
exactly what does this mean? I can't get it to change. Does this statement mean there IS some kind of way to get that horrible "marble" background replaced??? |

You sure look like you have a good handle on the between-release work that has to be done. Are you able to get any of these suggested fixes into the actual kitchen?

Re: Bugs\Fixes\Updates WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
Ah! Roger that. As a follow up then, are his updated incorporated into the live download servers that the kitchen updater uses? I have tried to pull fixes for the Titan and Herman/Raphael but nothing is showing up. Chefs should just do them manually on the client side?
Also - might I suggest in the core kitchen stuff that the OZ Messenger OEM info mention that it is for the Diamond, it does not work on the Titan/Mogul. |
Re: Bugs\Fixes\Updates WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

Here are updated "Manila" OEMs. They doesn't address the issues reported above, but do implement additional compression. This reduces their size significantly and improves performance. The Option.xml files of each were also updated to exclude other Manila options, these OEMs will work side-by-side with existing options when extracted to the USER_OEM folder.
Manila: Pre-compression: 18,000,929 bytes Post-compression: 11,611,887 bytes Manila Raphael: Pre-compression: 17,781,179 bytes Post-compression:11,496,698 bytes Manila Sprint: Pre-compression: 16,037,276 bytes Post-compression: 9,079,523 bytes Manila Sprint Raphael: Pre-compression: 16,305,021 bytes Post-compression: 10,670,080 bytes |

Text in BuildOS can be difficult to read against the "Herman" text...
http://www.kenkolano.com/PPC/Illegible%20Text.jpg Replacing herman.png in \Kitchens\Herman_Core.rar with the one attached below will make the background a pale, uniform yellow (as seen in the gap besides each OEM) which is significantly easier to read against. This can be applied against other Phone cores as well by renaming appropriately and making similar replacements in their core RARs. |
Re: Bugs\Fixes\Updates WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
Known changes in 02/08/2009 update based on a cursory review of OEM and file dates, I still need to find copies of the former RARs to compile an accurate list of updates.
