just a quick question, after flashing my rA icon never appears even though on the previous version it did. also the Ev is a different E that is grayed out. Also the HTC close button comes and goes on its own, although it works when pressed. Did two hard resets and a *228 just in case but that never corrected the rA icon issue. More of an fyi since everything is running smooth. Thanks

Tales from a sprint user
Short time lurker, first time poster. Went from stock sprint to Juggalo's and now Conflipper's.
1) Very fast and responsive, with an occasional hiccup in a window popup, but this is rare. 3) Perhaps because of the pagepool (I'm an admitted total noob), but the diamond hologram program is really slow, about .13 frames per second. Again, not a big deal, just something I noticed. 4) Opera opens to a blank page (opera:blank) when you start the program, not the home page you set. Tapping the home page button takes you to your page (I'm using google), but this redundant action doesn't seem to make sense. This doesn't change no matter what I do in opera settings. Again, this is just an annoyance. 5) Signal strength hops around. No dropped calls or anything, but I was getting full signal strength with the same radio before. 6) I cannot download a file via opera to either the phone or my card. I'll download, opera will say the file is downloaded (nearly instantly), but the file is not there. 7) When using ActiveSync, only some of the folders are viewable on my laptop. Therefore, I can't do the Alltel logo fix since, according to my activesync, there is no windows folder. This, coupled with #5 above, makes file/cab management pretty darn annoying. The last two issues make it difficult for me to customize, so I'll probably switch over to the more Sprint friendly (for me at least, unless there's some security setting causing this that I don't know about) Juggalo rom. A shame, since I really like the speed and look of this rom. Thanks Mike |

The Opera build he's using in this rom is a super responsive rom he and Juggalo_X worked up with working flash, but it doesn't open to the Home page. It's not a big deal, just click on the home icon. You said the file isn't there that you downloaded, that's do to a bug in this build that I too have noticed. It's saving the file instead to /windows/opera9/temp or cache or something like that, creating a storage card folder in that directory. And that is a big bug, if you're downloaded a big file like a whole album or movie. Any fix for this Conflipper?

You can overwrite files using Resco File Explorer or Total Commander to do the logo fix, you may have to turn off tf3d first. Either one of those file explorers is infinitely better than the stock file explorer anyway. First thing I always do after flashing a new rom is install Resco File Explorer.

I think he used an Opera Build from the Omnia, and it doesn't have g-sensor capabilities. If you have to have landscape just slide the keyboard out.
