Anyway.... The quick menu is loading everytime no matter whether I select to not have it run at next startup. Also wktask is locking up the phone (sometimes) when I try to terminate it via task manager.

Another oddity, I woke up this morning and my internet connection would not work. It worked fine after soft reset so I'm not exactly sure what caused it. First rom, version, etc that this has happened on.

By the way flyers, my thread edit did not save and in there I stated that while these are easy to do, it may benefit the JD fan base to have it/them precooked. I don't appreciate being commented on as if I am some noob. I was simply making a suggestion.

Brandon I am not trying to be the thread police....if you go back and look at statements from JD in many of his rom releases he stated exactly what I stated that these are his preferences and he shares them with us....he really only changes things if they become an issue with the rom...

You are correct on the Quickmenu at start up....if you do not want it at start up go to Windows\Startup and delete it...problem solved....also if your post would have saved the edit you talked about I would have understood your post better..you also did not mention these other issues until this post.... internet, wktask......I never said anything about you being a "noob"...lets move on for sake of development....thanks

if you do not like wktask you can delete it out of start up and then soft reset

I've noticed one other oddity with the rom, 3.0 (I'm downloading 3.1 right now). Whenever I open the keyboard with a program open it will minimize the program and show me the default landscape screen. Maybe it will be fixed with the next version, or maybe it was just me... Every time I go to my text messaging and open the keyboard I have to reopen the program, a minor annoyance but worth noting...

WOW!! It is like Xmas!! I just woke up to 3.1!! THank you soo much JD!! I loved 3.0! Looks like I found my new ROMs.I used to switch ROMS every other day.No more with JDs ROMs. I love his work!!

ok folks I really want to narrow down some issues tonight with this rom
1 found what may cause some of you not to be able to connect to your routers - fix - remove wifi router settings -

so consider these releases beta

JD, I noticed you took out Quick GPS out of 3.1, is there anywhere to get that? I been searching for an hour and cant find it anywhere. Thanks alot!

Yup that did it. I just removed all the settings.. restarted my wifi connection... entered in my credentials for my router and it connected.. I forgot how to use the old wmwifirouter so cant' remember what I needed to have both connections be on there and be able to login to my router.

I feel like an idiot here but I'm new to this phone and OS (moved up from Treo 650) so please take pity on me.

Where do I remove the settings from (where in the menu or what should I be looking for)? What settings in particular?
