Re: [01-16-09] Juggalo TP ROM v0.08B Telus & Sprint [OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972] [UC]
For future reference...I highly doubt that any rom on this site doesn't contain .net 3.5. There are several programs that require this and afaik it runs all programs that are compatible with .net 2.0. That does suck that you spent all day trying to install it. My only question is why? Was there a program you wanted to install that said it needed it? if so did you ever try to install it to see if it worked or were you still on step 1.) install .net 3.5? either way, you know now that it does indeed have .net 3.5 installed.

Re: [01-16-09] Juggalo TP ROM v0.08B Telus & Sprint [OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972] [UC]
The whole reason I was trying to get it on there is that I have an account called Outlook Email that I wanted to get rid of. I don't use exchange server and I cannot get rid of it for the like of me. I thought it may be what was hampering me from getting rid of it. Anyway, as long as it is there and I won't have to worry about having it, when I install future apps, I can dig it.

Is that account showing up from having picturemail installed? If not what about this...if you open activesync does it say "To synchronise your device with a desktop...." meaning it has never been set up or does it show something else? Maybe some .xml document or something has set up an account somehow...idk...just trying to think of reasons why you would see that...tell me again, where do you see this account?

I do have a picture mail acct. but, it is with sprint. I see the acct. when I go to start/messaging/menu/options there is text messages, Outlook Email, and my Comcast account and New Account option. I did make the mistake before of syncing my email with the device but, that has been fixed many ROM installs ago ( like 10 or 12 in the last week).

Cool. Thanx. I think I finally have everything just the way I want it. Thanx to all the people that have helped me. Now watch, Juggalo will come out with a new release and I will have to go start it all over again. Next I need to learn to cook up a Rom that has everything Just the way I want it and make it all fast install. It'd be nice to have email accounts and everything all setup already in a personal ROM.

Re: [01-16-09] Juggalo TP ROM v0.08B Telus & Sprint [OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972] [UC]
text message outbox problem...
I have seen issues in this thread (probably 100+ pages back, LOL) about people all of a sudden having old text messages sent to recipients over and over. Unfortunately that is now happening to me. I remember some believing it was due to backing up text messages, but that does not seem to be my issue. For me, it appears that when I send a text message, it is delivered to the intended person, but the message stays in my outbox (will not move over to the "sent" folder). I have tried removing the option to save the sent message to the sent folder to see if somehow that would help, but it does not. The problem seemed to first begin when I changed the settings in the autocorrect/wordcompletion area (xt9 or something like that) to elimiate lag, but that may just be a coincidence. I changed those settings back to the default but the problem persists. I can avoid the issue by manually deleting the message from my outbox after I send, but that is a real annoyance. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!!! FYI - on .08B....great rom!!! |
