[01-16-09] Juggalo TP ROM v0.08B Telus & Sprint [OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972] [UC]

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned that typing texts was laggy for them. I don't know if this is related, but I installed MagiKB Lite and have it configured the way I always do. I've been using it all day including my replies to this thread and experiencing some lag as well. I have MagiKB set so that when I hold a key it enters the capitalized letter and when I double click it enters the symbol for that key.

What's happening now is that when I hold a key it will enter the lower case letter immediately followed by the capitalized letter. When I double click it enters that key's default character first immediately followed by the symbol.

I've messed with all the timing options in MagiKB and that hasn't fixed the lagginess.

I've also disabled all of the T9 / predictive text stuff.

sprint rom is ready to go, tomorrow im looking into an updated ezinput see if that eliminates some lag.

i dont experence it but i shut off all the t9 and word suggestion stuff.

I've been using v0.06.03B without any problems ever since it was posted. Since I had no issues, I've been away from this thread. Does your post mean your're uploading it right now?

no major bug reports just a few minor changes and that damn pandora thing which is something i may not be able to fix easily, pandora is US only. for once..... everything sprint is working

I have a question just to see if any of you have experienced this....
Every once in a while when I put my phone to sleep via tapping the top power button, my four hardware(call.end.back.home) stay on, and this is not the only rom i have experienced this with(juicys also)....
Anyone have this happen, better yet, anyone know why....

BTW, I can confirm that the all apps in landscape does not work with tabs in all backgrounds cab, very odd, do you know the reason?
MY OCD kicked in and now I don't think I can use it

the cab replaces files that the landscape manila depends on too. but the replacement file does not contain the correct info in it for some of the tf3d landscape functions. thats why this happens. i plan on lookin into it deeper as time goes on. as for the key pad back light issue. i have seen that too on rare occasions i just kinda brushed it off and put it back to sleep.

The stock Sprint ROM would leave those buttons lite also.

do you guys actually use a flipping app like flip it? im thinking about including it but turning it off by default. so you can use it if you like and if you dont. hey its 86 KB deal with it. lol
