i don't think the feature is useless (and i know you weren't talking to me) but i do think there are a lot of us that it's just not working right for. i really like the idea of it but unfortunately, it's not working properly. and i would bet that for those of us that it's not working for, it's not that we're doing something wrong or that we have fingers the size of bratwurst sausages, it's just for some reason the touch sensitivity on some of the phones must be a little off. at least that's my thoughts on it. so. back to the question i've asked about 3 or 4 times so far. is there anyway to shut it off?

the S2A feature is great, the sliding function for the keys lock is an issue. it works everytime with the stylus but not with a finger swipe. and as i keep saying, i think it's just a setting or something.

+2 I love it no problem here either, it is sweet!

Couple of things to Comment on, the battery life is amazing! I seriously thought my battery icon was broken because it just wasn't draining:headbang:

Have you thought about adding a slide to unlock feature? I think that would be really cool, as I have used it on other phones...

The only problem I am having now is the scrolling on my contacts....
The stylus won't even move the contacts, the only way I can get them to move is by putting a lot of pressure on the screen or the sort by letters....
Was ths done on purpose?
Is there a fix, or am I the only one with this problem?
Still though, Thanks again Juggalo it is awesome=D>

It will constantly show activity even when data is off.

Juggalo, is there anyway to edit this to fix the data icons? I typically look at the data icons to understand if sprint picture mail is working(half of the time its not even trying to send due to the buggy program)

Thanks for the great Rom!

To disable the phone canvas lock that seems to be the most annoying
Edit the Following Key

HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone Under there find (Name) PhoneLockEnable change it from Value 1 from Value 0 This will disable the in call lock.. Took me a bit to find it but verified it works great.. S2A should still work but I have not gotten a call yet to verify.

Hope This helps those that dont like it.

James

I installed Icontact and have no problems scrolling.....don't know though if it was an issue before....because I always install Icontact immediately after flashing any rom...

Here is a Cab for the Edit.. Try at your Own Risk.. I tested on my phone and It seemed to work... But no promises.. This is the First time making a cab so.. You will Need to Reset device after installing or uninstalling for changes to take effect. Only change it makes is to the HKLM/Software/HTC/Phone/ PhoneLockEnable Key it changes from 1 to 0 as per the previous post.. Uninstalling it Reverts back to Original Value of 1

hope this helps the Few in need of something like this.
