I got a question for you Dream, I used your .7 and .8 roms, but when juicy came out with 4.7 i switched to that one (before it got pulled) and I must say the telus rom radio is AWESOME on battery life on my sprint TP. Does your 1.0 rom have the sprint or telus radio rom? If its the sprint one would it be possible to make one with the telus radio rom, it really is much more efficient then that crap sprint one.

FYI - You can flash radios independently of the ROM. I am running Dream's rom with the Telus 1.04 radio and it works perfectly. I think usually only the shipped roms are bundles with radios.

Fox: You flash radio's separate from ROMs. No ROM includes any radio. If you did not separately flash the Telus radio, then you were never using it. If you did, they you are still using it (unless you specifically flashed the Sprint/VZW radio back). Flashing a radio does not require a hard-reset like flashing a ROM does, so if you haven't done it, go ahead and do it now... the Telus radio is awesome (whether you were previously using it or not).

On a second note, this is my new ROM and I plan to stick with it. Dream 1.0 with default PP is the fastest I have used, dosn't include any extra crap, and is only missing the following below. Thanks Dream!

NOTE: I installed my own modded Sprint Manila theme and Hawaii's Slide 2 Answer. With those additions this is the perfect ROM for me (other than the 5 missing apps listed above).

You can see which Radio you are running at the startup screen, it is the bottom of the three fields in Red.
No Rom changes a radio that I am aware of however, you can update your radio from here. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46616

sorry to hijack this thread but I had read that using the telus radio on sprint phone was causing issues with receiving calls etc... is this still true?

Was using the Telus radio for awhile before swapping to the Verizon one and I have had no problems with it what so ever.

Same, only issue I had was whenever I brought up google in opera it brought up the Frech version. I like you switched to Verizon rom and haven't had any issues.

If so, then wouldn't you be flashing to an older version from the Sprint shipped radio?
