Not using Nex's rom? Then what are you using?

I put nex's rom on mine an it's ok. I love a bunch of the apps included. However there are a lot of qwerks that are almost deal breakers for me.

Just wondering what rom you're using on your VZW phone and what you think about it. (hopefully in comparisson to Nex's.)

I'm potentially looking to switch it up.

I used both nex's and scott's, but in the end I just used the kitchen to build my own...

I havent made my own ROM for a while, can you use Build OS with the Touch Pro? That was easy to use.

I used Scott's ROM info to build my own with the eRice kitchen. I'll probably use the same method on the full kitchen in the future.

I tried to do this, but Verizon isn't listed as a carrier for the Raphael kitchen. How do I shove all the Verizon settings into my phone? Do I risk screwing it up if I use the AT&T profile?

Choose the Herman not the Raphael...The Herman is the CDMA TP the Raphael is the GSM version

You're getting big, sloppy, wet, manlove kisses if this works.

Erm... on second thought, would you settle for a "Thanks"?

Thats what Im doing obivoulsy. I am using the eRice Kitchen with my split OEM pack from the stock VZW ROM to create a basic OEM style kitchen

This is sanctioned by eRice in his thread and posted to my website.... www.scottcrosler.com

Check it out. A couple minor quirks with the ROM such as the ROM doesnt have VC but the kitchen does. Nothing major reported so far after three days.

Overal I think its fairly solid and notably quicker than the stock ROM but yet retains the 100% stock look and feel. Others have mixed opinions stating they dont see the speed gains. I posted more specific in my thread on the spesd such as where you will see gains, etc. I plan on doing a full blown comparison to the device before and after the Stock ROM to Custom ROM conversion. That will also be this weekend though.

Anyways, thats my two cents!

Lets make our device awesome! Keep sharing idea's!

This thread was a good start to organizing VZW ROM's! Great Job OP! Lets keep the thread going!
