I know I did the above QPST fix on my Vogue. I wonder if the drivers would work? |

Re: Verizon GPS Discussion
It may help once the chip is unlocked but that is for A-GPS. I'm remember how happy I was the day that came out. Went from 30 second locks to 4.

Re: Verizon GPS Discussion
QPST. Alright. I made it through step 7 and then it did not recognize the phone and asked for a "base model" instead. I aborted...

Re: Verizon GPS Discussion
How about trying to install one of the other four radios? That was the necessary step with unlocking the XV6900 for VZW.

I've ran them all already ![]() As far as the dll thing goes. I ran a fully sprint branded rom and it didn't work. |

Is there a way to wipe the entire ROM image from the phone? It appears that the unlocker does not allow full access to the ROM memory (192 MB) Then reload a base ROM and start very clean? Just troubleshooting... let me know when I start buggin you. |

Re: Verizon GPS Discussion
The problem is definitely unique to the XV6850.
How exactly does VZNavigator communicate with the on-board GPS? It's not all triangulation.

Re: Verizon GPS Discussion
Well, as I think about this phone, I think perhaps alot depends on what areas of the ROM can be flashed. Verizon has taken quite alot of space (64 MB for the OS in the main memory of 192 MB) and a huge chunk out of the storage memory as well. Perhaps they have some settings there that cannot be overwritten? Is there anyway to clear all of that space to ensure we are starting fresh? Still learning...
