Help! Trying not to brick - tricolor screen - error 260

So, I decided to take the plunge and unlock my phone. Unfortunately, I tried using an XP install running in VMware (genius, I know.)

The process started, then I got Error 260 and can't get anything to work anymore. The screen on my phone now says

Security Unlocked
...
...
USB

and the background is the tricolor screen.

I can't get anything to work. If I try restarting the program, I get error 260...

What should I do? I haven't tried restarting or anything yet, because I'm afraid I'm going to brick my damn phone...

Help!

Thanks.

That's not going to doom my phone?

Edit: Guess I have to have a little more faith. Hard reset worked, and the phone is still alive...

Sorry to post such a pointless thread. I couldn't help but think back to doing things like flashing new PSP firmware, when hitting reset in the middle was about the worst thing you could do.
