Alright, after running this for a bit I have a couple issues:
-No multiple file select
-A lot of lag/slowdown in text messaging if I use the keyboard (it's fine with the on-screen keyboard)
-Reply All instead of Reply for email.
-ActiveSync keeps restarting itself.

Other than these couple things, the ROM is usually flying.

It usually does need to go through a quick setup when you do a new flash, but it's short, and you shouldn't lose any of the data you have set up.

the only thing i dont like is the empty space in the top right where the X used to be, any way i can move over the battery and other icons to use the empty space? also does anyone got the htc qick gps and Youtube cabs?

I had to hex edit for it to work, that program posted doesn't do it right. So as long as you got the string specified for the Pro in both places, you should be ok if you did that.

after installing the task manager drop down doesn't work on the task bar, isn't that from windows? why does it not work?

edit: im stupid, i think its just a setting under the task manager... i will check

might've been the htc task manager build you installed. i'm in the process of trying to get my htc task manager back to stock after installing and uninstalling pocket plus, which replaced it but didn't restore it.

2.0 didn't display the icon in the taskbar at all.
2.1 build 33556 displays the task icon, but it's a quarter of the size of the regular taskbar icons. still works, though.
2.1 build 34837.5 seems to do the same as previous, except graphics look a little cleaner, highlights in yellow instead of green (probably custom for sprint).

next step is to try modifying the icon size in the reg entries.

and it works perfect, it doesn't start up right away, but that can be fixed.. but it works

Just wanted to say this kitchen works perfect for VZW TouchPro! Fast ROM's with a stock appeal! Great job!

This is the fastest kitchen / ROM I have tried so far. And thats all of them!

IM working on porting it over to VZW right now. Hope the OP doesnt mind. With his permission I will post it for VZW users. If not I will have a bad as kitchen to myself ;c)

Not to diss anyone else's work... This ROM is incredible! Blows away all the others on this board. This is unreal! About 2 to 4 megs extra ram then all the others! Thats alot for us VZW users!!!

WOW! This thing FLIES. Its not even remotely the same as the phone I had deliverd last week! None of the other ROM's have this sort of speed. I really did try them all so far. This thing is plain fast. I would love to see it on the phones with the extra memory!

yes it does... i have over 60 megs of stuff installed, a page pool of 32 with a max mem at about 184 and use about 70 of it. i never get p***** 40% of memory... it boots in about 40 seconds with tf3d up in another

it is extremely fast, and no junk is the best part

WOW. Yeah, I know I wont be doing that for sure but for the device... Its a whole new ball game! I just got the kitchen ported over to VZW carrier and tested out VZNazigator succesfully. VZW users will have atleast some choice to get GPS now with a custom ROM. I had a dial pad issue though and have tried a differnt porting technique. Testing my second ROM build now. Other than that it was fast as hell and completely stock. Im lovin this Kitchen! Blows away anything I have used since DCD 3 series. Im very impressed.

its pathetic... my verizon one was soft reset and was on the windows mobile screen and i reset my sprint one, and it booted and loaded the tf3d and was ready to go before the verizon one....

if you can get the sprint carrier files split from the rom/kitchen and include the vzw ones, more power to you. that's what this forum is about. sharing ideas and results and improving on them for the benefit of everyone.

with that said, I've heard other people say that the device hardware is different from the sprint hardware. if thats the case, I would take care to verify that everything works without an issue before publishing a ROM or kitchen for VZW users. i won't be undertaking a vzw version of my roms/kitchens because of the fact that i don't own the vzw phone.

Yeah, its done.
Everything works PERFRECT. VZ NAv too. IM not beginner at this stuff I just choose to lurk alot ;c) I have tested every function. I just replaced your OEM Folder with the one from the leaked ROM and it worked great. I had to move one single file around for the phone pad provsioning but after that its great!

VZNav is smooth now.

Im not going to post due to hecklers. VZW Users will just have to wait for a decent ROM. Yours is the best out. I tried them all. I really did. THis one kicks ***. Its even nicewr with all VZW graphics instead of sprint. Oh well. I got a nice phone now.

Hey guys, I got a question here. I am new and trying to learn, be easy. I have the Alltel version and from what I understand, this will most likely NOT work on my phone. I was able to run the HardSPL on it, so I guess I am just waiting for the kind people of the boards to drop down custom ROM's right?

Please. Someone. I love WorldCard Mobile. I love this ROM. I don't love having to choose between them.

Can someone please post either a cab or the files to copy to the windows folder or whatever to get back my WorldCard Mobile that came pre-installed on my Sprint Touch Pro?

PS: I tried both CABs from the Kaiser thread. One didn't work and the other was a 30day trial.

I have had the bottom portion of the screen glitch out just above the soft keys multiple times, there is no multi-file select, the Reply button for emails is Reply All, Enlarged Start Menu acts up a bit. I believe all of that is due to the Windows Mobile build version and nothing to do with the way eRice put it together. I had the same issues when I built a rom using 20931 from BuildOS.

Multi-file select is a big issue thanks....... i suggest you to install the goodlife tweaks which located in the esstenial sticky it would fix alot of the issues you are having..

Great Rom, Very clean and very fast. The most stable one that i have tried. No problems with the text showing new texts all the time like some of the other roms out there are showing. Flashed it and installed my favorite cabs and it runs great..(Haven't flashed to another a new rom in weeks...thats a good thing)

Thanks for the clean ROM, I do have a couple questions I was hoping you'd have some insight on.

-The letters on the keyboard seem to have a different font than normal. Is there a way to change this? This different font also shows up on the other things like USBtoPC, and the enlarged title bar. I attached a screenshot with the keyboard pulled up. EDIT: I was able to get the keyboard font changed with a reg edit, but the other items like USBtoPC and Enlarged Title Bar still use the uglier font. Edit 2: The font that's being used is Courier, instead of Tahoma(?).

EDIT #3: I overwrote cour.ttf with a copy of tahoma.ttf renamed to cour.ttf. That fixed all the font issues for the most part, except the font is just very slightly too large for the keyboard.
EDIT #4: Replaced cour.ttf with Helvetica LT 55 Roman, looks a little better that way.

-Is it possible to get File Explorer to allow multi-file select by touch? I thought it was an issue with the 20xxx series, but Ivan does have it working in his (his build is 20759). This isn't much of an issue though, I rarely need to select multiple files.

one question. if without any apps or tf3d, how on EARTH is there only 155MB free.
that means that Windows mobile is using 133MB~!
is this possible?
I just upgraded from my Titan with 64MB, and i could boot that up with around 25MB free.

can someone explain this?

Thanks PPCGeeks.com though, because I was always afraid to screw around with the TP and finally today I gathered courage and had my TP unlocked... was scary though, failed twice but no harm done on the TP's end. But finally I have it unlocked, flashed this ROM and Telus' 1.04 Radio.

You've now been bitten by the ROM flashing addiction. If you are like most of us, you will be flashing at least on a weekly basis. You try them all and settle on your favorite. You just get everything customized and the chef comes out with an update.
